Robby coming back from his sabbatical a few months later and his first day back he’s refreshed,happy but nervous to see how the ED is doing especially with how he decided to leave things. He walks in excepting chaos and drama but is shocked when everything is running smoothly,everyone seems happy and he realizes what Dana said the last time they talked was right. They did survive without him, he realizes the ED he puts his heart in soul into doesn’t need him and why would they, he distanced himself from all his colleagues by being rude and disrespectful. How would he be able to go back into the place he left broken now recovered but not needed.

so glad Emma is okay and hope Dana doesn’t quit again

Also anyone else seeing the mirroring of the overheated kid mom from this season and David from season 1

Lwk hope they do a nurses strike next season

Hope samira gets her flowers soon because the way Robby is treating her is fucking nasty asf

Also it’s very clear how much Robby cares about the ed but is so burnt out/depressed and in need of a break that he is lashing out at his coworkers

I also think he has a fear that the Ed will actually run perfectfully fine while he’s gone and he realizes they don’t need him to stay a float (ie the scene of him and Dana in the ambulance bay this episode)

I do think Al hashimi will be a better fit as a replacement for Robby, but the staff are judging her already from just one shift

Then there’s Dennis, Baron Whitaker, a newly minted lordling with desires of shaking up the textiles manufacturing business, the business Robby has been the leader of for decades. If the young Baron succeeds that could leave Robby without a penny and without the power to protect those around him.
