this experience was AMAZING! I found out how the ecosystem in this area lived, from the bugs feasting on plants, to the birds feasting on bugs, and plants feasting on the dead! in this journey we saw Edibles (grapevines), not so edibles (trees), bird trails and bug trails, and super cool bugs and how they interacted with plants and the enviroment around them! This seems like a pretty balanced ecosystem to me.
Using my friend as a subject, we see a pesky mosquito attempting to get it's daily food of, you guessed it, BLOOD! It requires blood so it can reproduce. Remember to wear bug spray!
These appear to be bug trails, left by some sort of bug. The woodpeckers were smart as too feast on this area!
This is a little bug stuck inside a spider web! It looks like it's going to be supper some time soon- The weak die as the strong rise to the top!
This is woodpecker holes on a tree! They have sharp and narrow beaks to peck holes into the wood, because tasty grub usually live inside them!
sadly ive lost the name for this plant.. but hey !!! a snail!! it looks like it's climbing up this plant to either travel or to possibly eat.
The wonderful Wildgrape vine.. Look at it, it comes together with the human made fence and uses it as a support to grow big and stout! The fruits can be very tart, but very edible!
What a beautiful little European Firebug (Pyrrhacoris apterus)! It seems to be taking shelter in this tree.. how cute. Bugs like living inside holes in trees, because it provides them shade and protection from outside factors.
