“Hitting on 16” is a game move in Blackjack that is pretty widely considered an incredibly risky move that will give you a very small chance of winning. The goal of Blackjack is to get as close to 21 in your card values without going over, and to “hit” means to draw another card. If you already have 16, taking another card is incredibly risky. This is what “hitting on sixteen” means.

the connections between people’s homes and their characters on the dsmp are so strong it genuinely makes me lose my mind. like post-doomsday tubbo being extremely defensive and prepared for attack and all his builds all being super heavily fortified and stockpiled with weapons…. quackity’s unnatural performances of power and self-sufficiency while it snows in a forest biome he covered with sand and tries to call a desert….. tommy being so quick to trust and open wit his emotions in an unassuming and extremely accessible little house that’s so characteristically him with his pet spider and little farm…… wilbur’s home going from a nation that stood for everything wilbur claimed to hold dear and tried desperately to protect to the bottom of a dark ravine as his sanity slipped LIKE. minecraft is a game about building things and the dsmp uses that to its advantage so well.
