introducing him here too, even if my Tumblr isn't as active.. my first (and probably only) kinsona Pyxis ✨

(To get it out of the way-when I say kin I mean heavily relating to a character, not acting as the character or thinking I am them, I know the term has shifted a bit but this is what it has always meant to me. No hate will be tolerated, you are free to block if it isn't to your taste idc, this is honestly a pretty personal project that I wanna share with you guys.

I've grown so attached to him.. I've even been constantly daydreaming about a suit of them (idk how good of an idea that is given the fandom sometimes but.. still I can't help myself.) I know I have a billion sonas but you'll probably see more of him because again, I love them so. (If anyone wants to draw him I'll love you forever btw)

Oh boy, where do I start…? So I was recently very inspired to make a fantasy story (knights, dragons, princesses, that type of thing) so thats how Lusine and Dren here got made. If they look somewhat familiar, that’s because their appearances are based loosely on myself and my wonderful boyfriend @elliee-doodles ! I’m still developing their story so any advice and such is welcome! I hope you’ve enjoyed their designs so far, their backstories and descriptions are below the cut!

Name: Lusine Mona Del Actias

Pronouns: she/they

Age: 25

Eye color: mahogany

Hair color: espresso brown

Height: 5’8

Brief personality description: Lusine is calm and somewhat melancholy. Very book-smart and good with her hands, but sheltered due to her isolation. Usually assumes the worst in people.

An abridged backstory: the first born child to the Royal family of the small but wealthy Kingdom of Actias. Lucine was told her role in life from an early age was to be a bargaining chip once she came of age to expand the kingdom with her eventual marriage to a neighboring kingdom. When she turned 9, mysterious threats were being made against her specifically. After an incident involving the death of a servant, she was sent to an old tower deep within the kingdom with a handful of servants till she came of age and was “needed”. Lucine soon discovered that the tower had previously belonged to a wizard, and with nothing else to do, devoted her life to teaching herself magic. One day a knight named Dren was assigned to guard her tower, he made her a drawing and their lives have been changed and intertwined since.

* She has a bunny familiar named Faust who she befriended not long after being sent to the tower.

* Has a beautiful and powerful singing voice.

* Name means “moon”.

Brief personality description: Dren on the surface is very shy and soft spoken. But deep down he has very strong opinions and cares deeply. He has a tendency to be stubborn.

An abridged backstory:

Dren’s parents were from two different worlds. His mother was from a clan of deer shifters that lived in the forest, and his father was a hunter who lived in town. After an incident involving his mother getting caught in a trap, they got married and had him. His mother passed away when he was young, but passed along the knowledge of his heritage, much to his father’s disapproval. One day when Dren was about 12, the King put out an order for more knights to be trained and the families of the knights would be compensated. His father pressured Dren into enlisting to “prove himself a man”. In knight school he wasn’t the best student at combat, but proved himself to be very good at stealth because of his deer shifter abilities. Eventually he was assigned to guard the tower of Princess Lusine, he decides to befriend the lonely princess by giving her a drawing and their lives have been changed and intertwined since.

3 Interesting facts about Dren:

* Has a possum sized pet dragon along with some pet rats.

* He is a trans man.

* Doesn’t eat much meat.
