You’d think that after living here for 7 years, I would’ve found a place that could get my coffee order right, but apparently, that isn’t the case. I guess I must still be impartial to New York, but damn, I didn’t think it was that hard to make a black coffee.

I would never do such a thing. It’s physically impossible for me to lie about attractive people. For real though, very nice picture. Max did a good job. Oh, and I can never sleep after a twenty-four so I stocked up the fridge and pantry after my shift this morning. Are there any snacks Beth likes that we could keep on hand if she ever stops by?

We may or may not have a few flies on our own team but it’s a good shot, boss. Not many people can cause a room full of hot firefighters to bypass the one woman to get a better look at the Captain.

@elianamlopez: No matter how much I may think I’m tired during a 24 hour shift, I can literally never sleep when I get off of them. Getting a little yoga in after hitting the gym, and then spoiling all of worked off calories with a glazed donut and coffee.

About Ellie Lopez

Eliana was born into a family that too many kids and not enough money to afford them all so she was used to going without. Her parents worked all the time so with no one to take over the parent position in the family, Ellie and her sibling had a habit of doing whatever they wanted to do without threat or fear or consequence. 

Her brothers got into trouble at school, skipping class and getting into fights until they were expelled and started running the streets. Her older sister ran away with her boyfriend and after three years of being away with him, she came back with two kids and one on the way. Ellie did her best to take care of them but as a kid without any guidance on how to parent, she was typically just left alone with the kids. Even Ellie’s younger siblings started acting out, doing everything from starting fights to starting fires. 

Ellie’s grades suffered and she often fell asleep in class or had to leave early to do something for them. With none of her family having graduated, she was determined to do it at any cost and that included taking speed so she could stay up and get all her work done. Over time she had to do more and found herself trying different things. She managed to graduate but had no idea what she wanted to do with her life so she went back to taking care of her sister’s three kids and her brother’s son. She took classes at a local community college just to do something. 

On one night when she was high and passed out, her younger brother was playing with fireworks in the basement and a fire started. She and her family were saved from the fire by the local fire department. As she watched them exit the burning house with her family unharmed, her heart took on a new life. She got clean and decided to become a firefighter.

Very true, though I wonder if part of it isn’t done for the purpose of irritating you. I’m pretty sure it’s too much fun bothering you to contain themselves. If I wasn’t such an awesome person, I’d have to jump on the irritate Wilson train just to see you get all red-faced.
