he's my best friend, but he REALLY needs to start taking care of himself more, he needs to stop being so damn RECKLESS, i only have a certain amount of supplies in my first aid kit, you know.

“That’s exactly what I’m doing.” he replied, snapping his fingers together. “Oh come on, I’m just having fun.” he whined playfully.

“don’t you think you’re being a little overdramatic?” he said, looking at elliot with a judgemental look. “why, exactly, do you think you’re gonna die?”

“Me overdramatic?” Elliot questioned before snorting. “Yeah right, I’m not over dramatic.” he protested.

Her laughter faded with Elliot’s reply, but she was still smiling. “I’m sorry,” she added, shaking her head at herself. At the snickers, she pressed her lips together. “Don’t give them the satisfaction. It’s not worth it, trust me,” she said, as low as his voice was.

“It’s fine..” he replied, rolling his eyes a bit. It wasn’t in a malicious manner though but more so a playful one. He lowered his fist that was filled with popcorn in disappointment, “No no you’re right, they’re not worth the effort it takes to be pissed.” he agreed.

“well, see, most people would say that it ruins all the work it takes to build that reputation up,” alissa said, mixing her current potion. “it takes a long time to build it up, but a single second to drag it to the ground.”

“Yeah well... good point.” he admitted with a shrug. “I think I’m pretty much past the point of changing how people see me though.” he replied. He was sure everyone just saw him as irresponsible anyway.

While flattered, the prince had to disagree. “No, I’m not.” he admitted. “I’m a complete impulsive mess who never thinks before he speaks. You on the other hand, you are beautiful and have one of the brightest spirits I think I have ever seen.”

“Now what makes you say that?” giving her forehead a peck. “if anything I don’t deserve you.”

Elliot sat on the edge of the bed and pushed back a strand of her hair from her face. “I would normally say yes, but we really should get out and do stuff today.” he urged gently.

Veronika laughed, covering her mouth to stifle the sound. “I was just joking. They’re not coming.” She patted his arm with a sigh. “But they do look pissed so you’ll just have to deal with it unless you really want them to come.”

Elliot quickly looked behind him before shooting her a look, which quickly faded.  “Don’t do that too me, I almost pissed myself.” he said, in a low voice. He quickly heard snickering behind him which tempted him to turn around.  “I swear I will throw this popcorn in their fucking faces.” he grumbled.

Elliot: I feel like it's become a legend at this point.

Elliot: Ahh guys voices, I see.

Elliot: I would like to think I have a sexy voice myself.

“he says, being completely and utterly cocky,” darcy said, rolling his eyes. “a guitar riff is only good when it’s attached to a song, otherwise it’s just obnoxious.”

“Come on Darcy, loosen up a little.” he said with a chuckle. “You sure about that?” he asked, plucking one of his strings for emphasis.

“Of course I do.” He promised, swaying back and forth with her. “I wouldn't have said it if I didn’t.”
