I remember being VERY surprised when I found the butterfly chrysalis under our bookshelf. Who knew a butterfly could appear inside the house? Do you like butterflies? I think they’re beautiful but I understand when people don’t really like insects of any kind.

This was a piece from the beginning of 2020, just before all hell broke loose. This is my OC Jaakko wielding the power of his God (based off the Horoscope Taurus) Aurun who is a God of the Volcano in which his people are living.
He can breathe pure sulphuric gas (mustard gas) out of his nostrils (like a bull in cartoons?) which is great for enemies who get a little too close for comfort, like the antagonist in his arc, AnnaBelinda.
Drawing these comics makes me revisit a lot of old memories. Often childhood memories are much more about the sounds, smells and feelings of things rather than actual events. I enjoy drawing comics about moments like that. They’re very meaningful to me.
