Daveed sighed as he reclined on the one of the pool chairs that lined the large pool. One week vacation in the Bahamas. All inclusive adult only resort. He just finished recording a clipping album and as usual, he takes a vacation to reset. This trip couldn’t come at a more perfect time as he just ended a five year relationship and all of his friends told him he needed to go away and clear his head.
He took a long swig of his cocktail, the warm island breeze dancing along his skin. He looked around the pool area, there wasn’t many people out, it was still kind of early in the morning. Then the sound of someone jumping into the pool grabbed his attention.
He saw you swimming gracefully across the pool. Your dark skin glistening in the sunlight, boho braids draping down your back. Good thing he was wearing sunglasses, he didn’t want to seem like a creep. He told himself to look away. He didn’t.
You decided to come for a morning swim, something you typically do when on vacation. You don’t mind the large crowds, but you prefer to swim alone before it gets crowded. You saw the man sitting on the lounger before he noticed you. You purposely swam by him, to get him to see you. Even with the sunglasses, you could see his head following you. You stopped in the middle of the pool.
You tilted your head back letting your gaze linger on him before swimming to the pool’s edge. Lifting yourself out of the water the water dripped down your body.
Daveed adjusted himself in his seat now wishing he brought his towel to cover himself. You sauntered to the outdoor shower knowing the mystery man was watching your every step. The contrast of the bright orange bikini complementing your skin.
“Damn.” Daveed muttered when his eyes looked down at your ass. He leaned forward slightly when you turned on the shower brushing your braids to one side letting the cold stream hit your skin.
You smirked when an idea came to you. You reached for the tie on your bikini toying with the string. You glanced back over your shoulder. He was already looking at you not that he ever stopped.
“So that’s the game we playin’?” Daveed said to himself
Daveed raised his drink in your direction before finishing it. You sent a flirtatious smile back as you untied the string. What he did next made your heart skip a beat he took of glasses. Not hurriedly or eagerly, but measured. He wanted you to see that.
Your fingers pause for just a second—like you’re giving him time to realize what you’re doing. Or maybe giving yourself time to decide if you’re really about to do this.
The second string follows.
You undid the other string letting your bikini bottom drop onto the ground bearing your lower half to him. Feeling bolder you ran your hands over your ass kneading and letting your nails drag along your flesh. Your breath catches slightly as you got reacquainted with your body. You locked eyes with him again and he was watching. Still. Focused.
Daveed’s jaw tightened and like his grip on his glass. He adjusted himself as he battled with staying in his seat or walking over to you.
Daveed stood and started making his way to this mystery woman that has captivated him the moment she dipped into the pool.
Wanting to stay in control of whatever you and your admirer had going on. You grabbed your robe and covered yourself. Daveed stopped in his track, smirking.
So that’s what we doin’. He thought to himself.
You offered a wave before leaving to go back to your room. You’re not sure what you’re getting yourself into but you hoped you’d run into your admirer again.
Daveed watched you leave until you were out of sight. He let out a long breath as he sat back down, running a hand over his face.
Yeah…he wasn’t here to clear his head anymore.
