There is a MHA fanfic where izuku is either homeless or living in a rough situation, and he becomes friends with hitoshi. Everyone thinks hitoshi is an orphan, but he actually has a loving home and one day hitoshi snaps and says that actually izuku has it rough and no one realises! Hitoshi also tried to test if it's part of his quirk that makes him seem so vulnerable.
