What a 'Perfect' love story?
.
Beautiful and honest portrayal of marriage
Highly disappointed! Honestly, I've never been a fan of those books where the female protagonist is basically a 'doormat' letting the guy walk all over her. Although, I've personally seen such characters in real life where the girl thinks that her love will 'change' the guy because he is worth it or its true love or some garbage. The main characters know nothing about each other, zero compatability, never have an actual conversation about their feelings or about anything in general for that matter, no genuine emotions involved, just pure lust where the female lead finds the guy irresistible and tolerates all the BS because she is "in love" The characters have more sex scenes but barely speak to each other about anything. The writer tries to create an impactful, painful love story but it's just hit you. Some of the scenes are absolutely cringe worthy. There is actually no love in this book! I might actually regret saying this in the future but right now I think Fifty shades of grey has a better story than this. Flat characters, tasteless and unnecessary romantic scenes, characters with no common sense and self-respect and so on.
In a nutshell, I feel this book was more like a badly written Harlequin romance and Colleen Hoover should not have written this in the first place. I still can't believe that this book is one of her bestsellers! What am I missing here?
Did you know that Alex Borstein (who plays Susie in Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) was originally supposed to play Sookie St. James in Gilmore girls?
Female friendships in Amy Sherman Palladino's shows >>>>>
Did anyone else notice this?
The longing look, unresolved feelings, pent-up emotions, bar scene bg!
Marvelous Mrs Maisel x Gilmore Girls
Is this a 'Amy Sherman Palladino' thing?
This will be my forever favorite Gilmore girls episode! ❤️
"You jump, I jump, Jack" ☂️
Watched this movie yesterday 👫
.
Speechless 😶
Another one from Colleen Hoover! This book is not your typical love story! It deals with sensitive topics like domestic abuse, sexual abuse and trauma (Trigger warning)
I had the chance to read 'Verity' by Colleen Hoover last week. This book was unputdownable 🔥 If you are into eerie, creepy romances then this book won't disappoint you! Had few disturbing nightmares 😳 Trigger Warning: disturbing scenes involving babies ⚠️
These two remind me of Joker and Harley Quinn 🃏 in so many ways
.
Did you watch You season 3?
Champagne problems by Taylor Swift is made for #Rogan ❤️🥲
I mean Lenny Bruce is fineee as helll 😍
Finished watching Mrs. Maisel today! I know it'll probably be historically inaccurate but can these two get together already?? ❤️ Rooting for them since season 1 episode 1 🥲
