Lucanis Week 2026 Prompts
Thank you to everyone who submitted suggestions! There were a ton of great ideas, we did our best to include as many of them as possible with these prompts:
Lucanis Week 2026 will take place from Monday, June 22nd -> Sunday, June 28th!
The hashtag will be #DATVLucanis2026.
Check out the Rules & FAQ on our blog! If you have any questions, feel free to send us an ask! We're so excited to see what you all do with these <3
In an interview, I saw Aaron remind Walton that he (as The Ghoul) has no toes. Walton immediately turned around and replied, "Oh, that's right; I have no toes!"
Okay, people: Why do you think it is that the ghoul has no toes??
My best guess is that Don Pedro took them one at a time while he had the ghoul in his power.
Can we talk about just how brilliant Walton Goggins' portrayal of The Ghoul is?
In Fallout season 1, Episode 7; The Radio, Adam, a lead farmer returns home with his son Tommy, only to find the Ghoul sitting at his table, eating mystery meat.
The Ghoul, who we've seen eating raw human liver with his fingers, isn't just sitting at a table, eating food; he's eating with a knife and fork, and he's doing it the proper way, which is not usually seen in America.
He holds the knife in his right hand, the fork in his left, and after cutting the meat, he keeps the fork in his left hand, spears the food and brings it to his mouth. That is the way it's done in Europe, and also how it's done in high society. In America, the tendency is to cut the food, put down the knife, and switch the fork to the right hand to eat the cut food, but even in America, the well-to-do eat in the European manner.
Walton Goggins is reminding us all that the Ghoul was once Cooper Howard, a famous actor, who was wealthy, and part of polite society.
How amazing it was to see The Ghoul do this. It's a very big indication that Cooper Howard is still in there, and he's not really buried as deeply away as we may have thought. Or perhaps having Lucy save him after he had sent her to what should have been her death, awoke The Ghoul's long-buried true self?
I would love to be able to ask Walton Goggins about this. Maybe one of you will get the chance.
If you do, then please make sure to report back!
the woman helping Norm couldn't be Janey. Claudia is clearly not black.
Janey is mixed race and has a lighter skin tone; Claudia's skin tone is very similar. Anyway, nothing is ever as it seems in this series... We'll just have to wait and see... But it would be awesome if it turned out to be true. 😅
Fallout Season 2 - Sudden realization!
Crikey!!!
What if the young lady who was aiding Norman is really Janey Howard!? The whole, "I've only worked for Vault-tek for a week" might be a cover to explain why the others don't know who she is. And then there's the way she stared at the picture of Janey on Barb's desk... Her coloration is a match, and her hairstyle looks similar to Barb's...
OMG!!!! 😱
If I can no longer have Clancy Brown as The Kurgan, then I really want to see The Dutch Giant (Olivier Richters) play him!!! He would be terrifying. 😁
Horrible thought!
(Update 22 Jan: in orange below)
Fallout - Season 2, Episode 6
What if the cryo tubes are empty because Barb and Janie never made it to the site? What if Vault-Tec, knowing that Barb betrayed them, prevented them from making use of any of their cryo facilities?
I now believe that Barb and Janie are in a specialized cryo chamber in The Enclave. (Remember Barb telling Cooper that she wanted them to be in the best place? After watching her meetings in this episode, you better believe she knows that that is not vault-tek!)
Wilwig works for The institute but is being manipulated by The Enclave. Same thing with Barb; she's working for Vault-tek but is in fact owned by The Enclave.
Worst yet... What if they used them in experiments, or killed them!?
What will this do to Cooper Howard when the truth comes out?
Would he give up and go full-on feral? Or would he embark on an epic hero's quest to bring all those responsible to Justice?
Now remember; I'm not saying that I believe this is what happened. I am just stating a possible reason for them not being in the cryo tubes.
Unfortunately, I do have to believe that if Vault-Tec had Barb warned / threatened so quickly when she started to second guess herself, that they would quickly have known of her betrayal and taken some action against her.
So it's not vault tech warning Barb through Wilzig, it is actually The Enclave.
In the past, I believe that Cooper handed off the cold fusion to Wilzig. I believe it is his hand that we see in the car. When next we see the cold fusion it is still in Wilsig's possession.
In the current timeline, Cooper is about to come back into possession of the cold fusion. He now has the chance to do with it what he should have done the first time... Give it to Robert House.
Anyway, that's my current thinking on everything.
😓
What are your thoughts on this?
Fallout - Season 2, Episode 5
Epiphany!!!
I only just realized that Lucy and the ghoul had already spent a night together in the room at the hotel!
If you will recall, after Lucy decimated the ghoul Kings, when the two of them stood staring at the gate into Vegas preparatory to entering, it was still daylight out.
The next time we see them is when they are being ambushed by the Death Claws and at that time it is dark outside. Since they presumably did not have to travel very far since last time we saw them, it couldn't have been dark for very long.
They escape by sliding under the gate to Freeside.
The next time we see them it appears to be morning and they are both standing on the main strip of Freeside staring back at the gate that they had slid under the night before.
So where did they spend the night?
Conclusion: They took a room at the Wrangler that same night. I'm guessing they probably also stopped at the bar there and had a few drinks (which may have helped to get Lucy through her jitters until the morning).
So, later on, Cooper just mosied on up to a room without talking to anyone in the establishment about it because he had already paid for it the night before. This is also why Lucy was able to find him so easily later that morning / afternoon. She already knew exactly where he would be getting fucked up, and she just goes straight to the room, and starts dropping her stuff on the floor.
As far as the sleeping arrangements went; I'm guessing that she got the bed, and he slept in the chair with his feet up on the bed... After all he looked very comfortable doing that when we saw him drinking while waiting for her.
There seems to be a new intimacy between them after spending the night in real accommodations, which has him feeling comfortable enough around her to reach out and touch her when she's puking out the window. And the way she looks up at him from the chair shows that she has a new sense of ease around him.
This makes the betrayal so much worse... for both of them.
I think that when Lucy has a chance to think things out, that she will forgive him. He really could not afford to risk his family's lives, and chose the lesser of two evils in giving her back to her father.
I wonder if she's about to find out who he really is during her "reunion" with dear old dad.
I was also interested in finding out what happened to his saddlebags, and the power fist. Rewatching, I was able to verify that the saddlebags went out the window with him and ended up splayed on the ground. Not good! You know someone's going to steal it (and along with it, his meds).
But what happened to the power fist? Did Hank take it when he picked up Lucy, or is it still in the room where it can be collected later by Cooper? It sure would come in handy when dealing with the Death Claws!
Anyway, enough of my blathering...
found this on an absolute whim and the account was made today
enjoy, lucanis fandom, and please be respectful
anyway while i'm at it here are some of my favourite lucanis shots i've taken
Snippet VI from The Magekiller's Bride
After two months of avoiding her, Rook finally forces her husband to meet her in Salle.
"Fine," Lucanis said curtly as they swept stiffly across the dancefloor, "You summoned me here. You wanted to talk." This close to her, she could see the burst blood vessels in the whites of his eyes and smell the alcohol and coffee beneath his cologne. "You have my full attention now."
So she did. And what a heady thing it was.
"Don't be too angry, Lucanis," she murmured, "I did what I had to to make you return to me." He raised his hand so she could twirl under his arm. She twisted back into his chest.
"Andarateia Cantori, and then Illario," he muttered with a hint of annoyance. "You could have chosen less prominent figures to start a scandal with."
"Don't tell me you're jealous?" They parted for a moment, as the dance allowed, but his eyes didn't leave hers as she spun and returned to his arms. Rook tilted her head. "After two months avoiding me, I don't think you have the right to be jealous."
"I know," he gritted out. "But your reputation will not benefit our child." His grip tightened on her waist meaningfully. "Their parentage cannot be disputed, if we are to only have one."
"Teia cannot get me with child," Rook scoffed, "And Illario—"
"—Illario's bastard can still pass as mine?" he suggested cruelly.
A brilliant, gothic story featuring The Demon of Vyrantium and Rook. I highly recommend this read!
When I was about 8 yrs old, I cooked spaghetti for the first time. I used a pot that was too small, and started breaking the pasta so it would fit... I heard a gasp, and turned just in time to see my Sicilian father's soul leave his body. I never broke spaghetti again. 😂

I hate EA. So much! It's like a virus that takes over gaming entities and slowly kills them.
That was horrible

The tumblr experience
I set my phone down on the couch next to my husband and after 30 seconds the sound randomly turned on. He thought it was funny so he just let it play. And repeat. After about the sixth or seventh time he looks up and goes "that's not Careless Whisper"
This is one of the best things I've seen (and heard)! It caught me off guard. 🤭 Make sure you have the sound on!!
