elsa-larsson:
Elsa leaned against the pool table, arms crossed over her chest. “Honestly, I’d say your chances are slim either way,” she grinned devilishly. “But, if you think you can beat me at pool, by all means, make it happen, Kyle,” Elsa challenged with a smirk.
Leaning against the table, Kyle mimicked her actions. Oh, she had not just defied the most competitive person in town. The man was crazy for victory, nothing ever stood in his way. Not even in a simple Scotland Yard match. He tilted his head to the side until he heard a crack, it was his neck. “Then let’s make this more interesting?” His voice was stiff and firm through the entirety of that rhetorical question. Much as he liked Elsa, he was not playing around. “What do you say we make a bet?”
Elsa was enjoying herself, maybe a little too much. She knew few people matched the level of competitiveness that she occupied and that Kyle was one of those few. Egging him on was likely to end in disaster, but it was so much fun. “Please. Everything’s more fun when you bet on it,” she smirked, leaning in closer to him so she was only a few inches from his face. “If you win, what do you want?”
