( cis female | she/her | diana silvers ) āā isnāt that ELSA ERNIRDĆTTIR? yeah that is them, outside the three broomsticks! they used to go to DURMSTRANGĀ but apparently they now work as an UNSPEAKABLE at the DEPARTMENT OF MYSTERIES. sybill once said that they reminded her of ripped fishnet tights and combat boots, howling at big bright full moons, crumbling dried plants hanging from the ceiling, chipped black nail polish, and long messy hair which seems about right. anyway iāve heard theyāre still a bit ARTICULATE, UNBALANCED and DECEPTIVE, theyāre TWENTY-FOUR now but some things never change! i wonder how being a WEREWOLF (unregistered) is affecting them after hogwarts, especially now theyāre MEMBER OF GREYBACKāS PACK with theĀ DEATH EATERS? i guess only time will tellā¦Ā

Ā Ā Ā elsa was a child born of a mistakeĀ Ā .Ā when her mother found out she was pregnant with a young rich man who was trying to become a politicianĀ .Ā his parents tried to pay her mom offĀ ,Ā but elsaās mother refused to take the money because she thought heād side with herĀ .Ā theyād promised to run away to england togetherĀ ,Ā yet he didnāt show up the night theyād planned. when that happenedĀ ,Ā ernir reluctantly took the money and went off to russia on her ownĀ .
Ā Ā Ā she was born on a cool summer nightĀ ,Ā elsaās mother treated her like a princess. elsa was supposed to be softĀ ,Ā to not want adventure. her mother wanted her to be obedientĀ Ā ,Ā though elsa was a bit of a wild childĀ .Ā thankfullyĀ ,Ā her mum ended up getting a job that required her to be gone long hoursĀ Ā ,Ā working hard to keep their small country home keptĀ .Ā pristineĀ ,Ā even if it meant not seeing her daughter as often as she wantedĀ .
Ā Ā Ā elsa was told by her mother that she had cousins in scotlandĀ ,Ā though they never had a free moment to spare to visit themĀ ,Ā since her mum was never homeĀ .Ā elsa was left to her own devices and often was found sneaking away from her nannies to frolic in the woods and escape the boringness that was indoorsĀ .Ā although sheād get in trouble for ignoring the wishes of her mother and nanniesĀ .
Ā Ā Ā much to her motherās dismayĀ ,Ā elsa was more content playing in the woods behind the house with her brothers than she was in the house with the dollsĀ .Ā eventuallyĀ ,Ā elsa compromised and was able to play the part her mum wanted her to playĀ Ā āĀ the perfect princessĀ Ā āĀ Ā while also allowing her be the feral child she sometimes wanted to beĀ .Ā there was a balance with themĀ ,Ā though elsaās mother wished more than anything her child was normalĀ .Ā
Ā Ā Ā elsa showed signs of magic early on in lifeĀ ,Ā her mother letting out a sigh of relief at the sight of itĀ ,Ā if only because it meant elsa would be gone for months at a time at schoolĀ .Ā while sometimes elsa hated the idea that her mum treated her the way she didĀ ,Ā she also loved the attention whenever she got into troubleĀ .Ā and despite elsaās mother being quite cold at timesĀ ,Ā the two did get along most of the timeĀ .Ā sometimes it was just difficult for her mum to keep elsa from exploringĀ .Ā
Ā Ā Ā at durmstrangĀ ,Ā elsa ready to learn darker magicsĀ ,Ā things her mother refused to teach herĀ .Ā there was no doubt she belonged thereĀ ,Ā cruelĀ ,Ā icyĀ ,Ā and more than ready to learn what they were teachingĀ .Ā elsa was a talented wixĀ Ā .Ā she excelled in the dark arts and academics when she was able to focusĀ .Ā and with durmstrangās dark magicĀ ,Ā she was one of the top students in her yearĀ .Ā
Ā Ā Ā when she graduated was when her life changedĀ ,Ā her mum told her she was tired of living in russia and wanted to go back to icelandĀ .Ā elsa had no desire to go to a home that was never hersĀ ,Ā Ā a place sheād never been toĀ .Ā but her mother let her keep part of the money from when they sold the houseĀ .Ā for about six monthsĀ ,Ā elsa stuck around russiaĀ ,Ā then she decided to travelĀ .Ā
Ā Ā Ā elsa made it as far as england before she ran out of moneyĀ .Ā Ā she was working as a bartender whenĀ fenrir greyback found herĀ .Ā twenty two at the timeĀ ,Ā elsa had become guarded and wary of most peopleĀ .Ā she didnāt trust him at firstĀ ,Ā but eventually the allure of a familyĀ ,Ā of a packĀ ,Ā of a father figure she never hadĀ ,Ā was compelling to herĀ .Ā he introduced her to someone that got her a job in the department of mysteries as an unspeakableĀ .Ā Ā as someone that had graduated near the top of her classĀ ,Ā elsa fit in nicely with the more intelligence based workĀ .
Ā Ā Ā greyback didnāt bite her at firstĀ ,Ā elsa was too eagerĀ ,Ā too blood thirstyĀ .Ā at the beginning of 1977 he bit herĀ .Ā sheās not told anyone other than the other members of the packĀ .Ā thereās not a doubt that she choose the right sideĀ .Ā because now elsa has a family thatās hersĀ .Ā .Ā .Ā and thatās all sheās ever wantedĀ .Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā āhave you considered that maybe youāre simply not used to what people sound like when theyāre teasing you? but no, i didnāt really need anything.ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā Ā Ā Ā youāre Ā missing Ā a Ā very Ā important Ā half Ā of Ā the Ā puzzle Ā here Ā ā Ā how Ā many Ā of Ā those Ā years Ā did Ā i Ā know Ā you Ā even Ā existed Ā ? Ā Ā Ā or Ā and Ā that Ā you Ā were Ā just Ā one Ā country Ā away Ā instead Ā of Ā several Ā ? Ā Ā Ā you Ā never Ā reached Ā out Ā either Ā . Ā youāre Ā the Ā one Ā that Ā knew Ā . Ā Ā Ā four Ā years Ā ago Ā i Ā was Ā still Ā a Ā child Ā . Ā Ā Ā a Ā child Ā who Ā sorted Ā out Ā all Ā the Ā messes Ā because Ā i Ā thought Ā thatās Ā what Ā good Ā daughters Ā did Ā . V. The Hierophant ā Who does your muse turn to when theyāre in desperate need of help?
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā it really depends on the situation, but most of the time elsa turns to dmitry for help. she doesnāt like to ask for help, so when she does, itās usually something big. although, she doesnāt ask him for help with family matters, those she ignores and refuses to deal with most of the time. elsa does however, only go to fenrir greyback with werewolf related problems and only when she doesnāt feel like she has anyone else who would understand her.Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā elsa didnāt want to do this, but she was an anarchist, not a heathen. while she rejected many of her motherās lessons on how to be a proper lady, she didnāt like it when she felt like she owed someone something. regardless of her feelings about her cousin, elsa did not want to feel like she owedĀ hermina anything, even something as small as cookies. so sheād spent the afternoon making cookies for her cousin and she found herself at the hogās head, spotting the blonde behind the bar.Ā āicelandic pepper cookies. now i donāt owe you anything,ā she shoved the cookies at the blonde.Ā
āTwo rules, Elsa. Thatās all Iāve ever asked you to listen to.ā As if Dmitry would ever even enforce that much, when it came to Elsa.Ā āIf itās only the one vial and this one time, then fine. But put it in one of those muggle sandwich bags?ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āif i stare at you unnervingly for a few minutes, will you change your mind?ā she asked, looking at him.Ā āare you just afraid youāre boyfriend will see me with blood and get scared? or are you just afraid iām going to get it on something? because iāll have you know, i am very good at cleaning spells.ā elsa didnāt often listen to the rules that were set because she didnāt think any of them necessarily applied to her. they shouldnāt, even if they did.Ā
āNo, Iām not touching it.ā Baz stood a good ways back, looking at the discarded item in much the way one would regard a very dangerous snake.Ā āAbsolutely not. Itās got weird vibes and Iām not touching it.ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āfine. fine,ā she rolled her eyes and looked at her coworker.Ā āthis is why i hate working with men. always so damn useless. canāt even do the simple task you were asked to do.ā thereās an icy tone to her voice. elsa picked up the item from the muddle of the table.Ā āno weird vibes here, iām not dead.āĀ
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā she didnāt know her cousins and didnāt really care to get to know them. elsaās lived in england for nearly four years at this point. she took the money from her mum and ran with it. found herself in england, found herself with a new family. while elsa still wrote to her mother, she didnāt consider iceland home. this was her home.Ā ādonāt get so excited,ā she responded, looking at him closely. elsa wondered if he actually cared. probably not, since he didnāt seem interested in seeking her out.Ā āi donāt live around here. iām visiting a friend.ā she did not care to know him. elsa didnāt see herself hanging out with her cousins when there were other things to do. the obligation to know them because they were family didnāt appeal to her. the fact that he thought she was joking, sparked anger insided her. elsa was always angry these days, the lycanthropy seemed to make it worse, especially during a full moon.Ā āiām fully capable of handling myself in both a duel and a fist fight,ā she snapped. after all, elsa had gone to durmstrang. she knew her strengths were in darker magics than the people here were used to.Ā āconsidering the lot i hang around, repercussions are not something i regard in the least.ā she was angry, irritated, and her entire body ached.Ā ānow iām curious to know who is on your list. i wouldnāt do the dirty work for you, of course.ā what she needed was a large forest to roam in for a bit, let herself be healed by being surrounded by nature. it had always calmed her to get lost in the woods.Ā āi have quite the lengthy list of people iād like to punch in the face.āĀ
āYou do have your own flat; you could keep it there.ā Dmitry sighed, wondering if maybe he should be rethinking his life choices more than he was.Ā āDonāt you have friends that like blood?āĀ
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āsince when do i listen to you?ā elsa didnāt listen to anyone, including dmitry, so she didnāt know why she was suddenly supposed to start.Ā āitās for a potion, itās a small vial, and i donāt know. i donāt really have any other friends besides you.āĀ
āIf youāre sure you could do it on your own, Iād have no reason to stop you.ā Seph shrugged, though she was kind of hoping her lack of confidence would inspire Elsa to prove something.Ā āI donāt think your motherāsĀ wrong, but well-behaved women arenāt given opportunities either. Iāve tried both sides of that coin; this oneās more fun.ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āi am certain about that, yes,ā she replied, knowing her own skill at dark arts coupled with her rage near the full moon would win out among a couple of muggle men on a beach.Ā āi think my mother is a smart woman, but youāre right. i rarely listen to her on matters such as that.ā elsa didnāt think of her mother as a role model for the most part. she was way more feral than her mother ever was.Ā āiām not a well behaved woman. i donāt want to be. what kind of things do you do that arenāt considered refined behavior?āĀ
āIt does bother me that badly. That would be very nice.ā Baz nodded thoughtfully, glad that Elsa saw his point. The Department really needed more people like her, that did more actual work than paperwork fussing.Ā āThe interns need to be yelled at, or else theyāll get all weird about yelling and be useless the next time the brains break out. Itās important work, not background noise.ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āi give any work i donāt want to do to the interns.ā she didnāt bother yelling at them like some people. theyād either hate the work and disappear or sheād end up with new coworkers. both scenarios were not ideal.Ā āwhy bother yelling at them? itās too much work. i can just send them to agustus for yelling.ā she personally didnāt care much for yelling at anyone, except on occasion dmitry when he was being annoying. elsa enjoyed the work here though she did not enjoy working.Ā
