Does this look like a dream to you?
brightly, perfectly lit horror films, shot on perfect high tech cameras that produce perfect picture quality. cgi blood, green screen, no practical effects in sight. sequel, remake, prequel, spinoff. butchering of a beloved character’s personality, butchering of a beloved slasher’s personality. outside of universe soundtrack based jumpscare. big budget, big celebrity actors. not committing to the theme of their film, not committing to the horror. mcu-ifiying horror films. disregard of sound design and visually stunning carnage and destruction. making horror films to be consumed by any movie goer and not solely horror fans.
