When Marina finally stopped crying and settled down for her nap, Zach was about ready to drop. She had cried a lot since he brought her here. It could have been the new place but he was sure it was because she missed Callista. He felt guilty taking up Elsa and Orlaith’s space with a crying baby and a dog and he felt guilty to leave her with someone else to babysit her all day while he worked. He landed on the couch and rubbed his hands over his face as if that would wipe away all guilt and sadness. When he opened his eyes, he saw Elsa there, “Hey, I’m so sorry about her. I’ll be out of your hair soon, I pro-” he stopped when he saw the look on her face and the letter in her hand, “What’s that?”

Elsa shook her head and offered a smile when Zach began to apologize. “Stop, it’s okay,” she insisted. “Honestly, I’ve enjoyed having you guys here. Even with the crying, she and Coral keep me company when you and Orlaith are working. She’s been fun to have along for the ride when I pound the pavement trying to find a new job,” she told him with a chuckle. Extending her hand out to him, she looked at the letter in it. “It’s from Callista. She dropped it off this morning.”
