I am looking for someone to commission a tattoo for me. I'm looking to get my ball python Elton with some flowers/plants in the background. I'd like it to fit on my upper arm :) The style I'm interested in and that would match the rest of my tattoos would be new school. I'd also like for it to be fully colored. help for a defensive snake?

so last week (7/29) i picked up a ball python, about a year old, from craigslist. she was a surrender, don't know anything about her background, though she seemed decently cared for. the guy warned me she was a bit snippy but said once she's out of her bin she's fine. she was okay for the first day, but then the second when i changed her water she tagged me. thought no problem, she's just scared, and maybe a bit cage defensive. today she completely trashed her entire bin (literally everything soaked — the walls, both her hides, and all the paper towels and substrate) by knocking over her water bowl and trailing around in it. i picked her up and put her on my bed while i laid down fresh paper, the entire time the poor girl was hissing and striking at everything. i feel bad, because i want her to be comfortable and not scared. i know she's still adjusting, but is there anything that can be done to prevent her being defensive? if this is just her personality this, is there any way to handle her, or is she better off being left alone? tldr; snake is defensive, are there any ways to calm her down?
