a slender hand rests on the deep reds of the table cloth, cheeks rosy from the vibrant SURROUNDINGS & smile pulled across cherry - glossed lips.
Delight shimmers and brightens the blue in her eyes the moment Mami speaks; any uncertainty that the girl in question might have found her arrangement distasteful seemed to completely vanish once Sayaka witnessed her beautiful, contagious smile, subconsciously donning one of her own. Perhaps it was a natural reaction to the gentle warmth that kindly enveloped her every time the blonde was focused on her person, and perhaps it was instinct that pulled her body forward, enough so that her own hand could brush against Mami's delicate, pedicured one.
Her index finger extends to tap at Mami's thumb, and the music around them changes to soft jazz as the next performer introduces herself. Sayaka wonders if her friend notices her subtle advance, or if she's just too wrapped up in taking in the atmosphere--either way, she intends to keep her attention, and doesn't allow the silence between them to be any more than a comfortable few seconds.
