“And the starry sky spreading above….” Chocolate eyes shone as he admired the beauty of the sky. It was a colder day today and he had wore a jacket. He had brought his camera to take some pictures. That needed patience, but he wanted a good shot. As he fixed everything on the camera, he heard footsteps.

“Beautiful isn’t it?”

Alcor smiled and put a hand to his chest.

“I think they are very beautiful indeed.”

“This spot is one of my favourites to admire the stars, the view is clear and its a bit on the outer part of the city so the city lights are too blinding.” Kevin comments with a small smile.

“You must come out here often, to have found a favorite location”, he noted. It brought a smile to his face to have been brought here.

“For how long have you been coming here to watch the stars? Did you always do it here?”, Alcor asked.

“Ah, you are rather sharp! I have been living in this city for like 3 months now, but I have been coming to visit since I was a child. My father would take me around in all sort of places, but this one was my favourite.” Kevin explained with a fond smile, as he remembered those times.

“This one spot is the best to also take shots from and its quiet too. So it’s rather nice.”

Kevin smiled at the other boy who seemed slightly shy, but it was fine, everyone had their own personality after all. A cheerful laugh escaped his lips as he scratched his cheek.

“Yeah, sorry about that!“Want to see them? I am actually quite proud of those shots.” he admits with his eyes becoming slightly smaller as he smiled widely.

“Oh! Forgot to introduce myself! I am Kevin, its nice  to meet you!”

he moved over to make room for kevin, bringing his book and coffee with him. kevin was certainly bright, if rien has to choose a word. though, he supposed that wasn’t exactly a bad thing. it was a contrast from his, well, rainy.

( his mom would be proud he was talking to someone more extroverted. )

“Oh thanks, Rien!” with that he sat down as well, now it was easier for him to find what he wanted.

"Alright then, here you are!” he said as he turned on the camera’s settings once again and the pictures appeared on the screen “I do enjoy taking photos quite a bit, honestly. So what do you think?”

The boy hummed slightly as a waitress came to his direction.

“Ah, can I have some chai latte, please? Thank you.” he responds politely and then turns to Rien “If I am bothering you, I will just take it and sit elsewhere so no worries.” Kevin assured him.

Kevin smiled as he looked over at her with warm brown eyes, holding his laptop bag with his left hand. At her words, he laughed slightly before nodding.

“Likewise! Oh, thanks alot! This palce is packed too, makes sense, since it is really close to university and has the best drinks anyway.” he added in a cheerful tone as he settled down in his seats.

“So, what are you studying Tomochika-san?” the brown haired boy asked.

               “I know! I was lucky to find a place to sit to be honest, though it feels like anyone’s ready to take it as soon as I make a move hinting my leaving” She laughed, smile still on her face as he took his seat in front of her.

“Hmmm you mean right now, or in general?” Tomo asked, with a small look at her papers before her gaze returned ot him. “Right now, Communication II. but I’m studying Public Relations, what about you?”

“I bet! Students do love this place, thank you for letting me sit with you, otherwise I would have to remain outside in the cold.” he said with a small laugh. 

“Oh, that’s interesting! Me? I am studying to become a teacher actually, been my dream for a long time and I like kids too, so it works out nicely enough.” Kevin replied with a bright smile.

Kevin hummed slightly as he held tightly to his camera. He had taken quite alot of photos as he visited the city, trying to find new corners of it, he hadn’t had the chance to explore. His eyes fell on a small cafe. 

The light fell on it just right and the small cloud nearby added a nice touch. Excited chocolate eyes inspected the scene a little more, there was a guy sitting by the window reading a book, his hand resting on the page and a small cup of a warm beverage with a slightly steam on it. His clothes fitted perfectly with the decor of the coffee shop. Without thinking, Kevin grabbed his camera and snapped a few pics. He turned to look at them and as he changed the shots, he noticed that the guy had look up and stared at him. He lifted his gaze only to see him blushing towards his direction.

Kevin waved with a smile, before walking inside the coffee shop, the small chime sounded pleasant to his ears as he headed towards the boy.

“Hey, if you want me to, I can delete those shots, I captured them without thinking, because it just looked perfect.” he admitted with a sheepish smile.

he had just gone to the coffee shop to work on homework early, so he wouldn’t have to do it when it was due. he had already finished a majority of the work, he just needed to finish reading a book for his english class. it was an easy enough task, though he wasn’t exactly sure if he felt up to doing the follow up questions. ( he had already worked on several subjects that day. )

however, rien noticed someone standing outside, taking pictures of the cafe. his cheeks reddened as he realized that he was in those photos. his face only grew more red as the other waved to him and walked inside.

❝ no, uh, you don’t have to delete them. you just startled me. ❞ he closed his book, and set it down on the table, resisting the urge to fidget.
