Trying to 'hunt' a mystery deer he hadn't seen before, Vodopad wandered through the forest, now crawling towards the sudden noise, now galloping to the place he supposed the deer was. But the mystery stranger managed to escape him every time. He had just lost his 'prey' once more when Widmung came out from the wood, attracted by the grumpy purring Vodopad caused. Being offered to jump around together, Vodopad threw away any thought about his recent 'hunt' and joined his friend for a gleeful game, jogging deeper and deeper into the wood, making sleeping butterflies soar up, and laughing brightly. It was a good time.
It was a warm and sunny day. So Hvoshch wandered around looking for a better place to read a book when he noticed a joyful group jumping on the violet patch. He approached them. (He always likes a good company, even though he is too slow to participate in any activity demanding more energy than needed to flip a page.) The wyrm slithered happily here and there, playing with them, but soon got tired, curled around the nearest tree and opened the book. Little fawns, wrnwlf and Go_move, were still jumping, and Saater came closer to look at the book. Hvoshch was glad and excited to show one of his treasures to him! Down there in the caves and holes no one was interested in books, so the Forest became a good change.

My new video ^V^ Enjoy!
I have finally edited the scans of the drawing and prepared them for printing postcards. I will print them much later, though, because I want to print another ones with golden elements first and for this I need to wait some more. Also - and this is my first try to do so - the full-sized scan is available on my LavaTop page from now on. ♥
Gray Weekdays, the faceless wanderer, with a packet of stars.
I want to try and start streaming drawing on Twitch. Sooo.... it's here if anyone is interested. I will start in a few minutes (Aaaaaaaaaaa >O<)
Startled
The sunlight flowed through the roof windows, lighting an old interior garden overgrown with wild plants. Thoroughly kept silence was not disturbed. Rarely a wing could accidentally sweep grass, or a careless antenna could touch leaves on a low branch, making them rustle. They tried to use gestures to talk and whispered only when it was necessary. The sunny day, the silence, and the lasting safeness didn't deceive them. They knew the illusory nature of the quietness too well. The attic hatch's lid trembled, pushed by someone from the lower floor. This seemingly small sound rushed through the interior garden room like lightning. Moths froze in terror, counting seconds, staring at the lid, waiting for it to erupt with danger, breaking into their hidden sanctuary. Intermittent breathing, held as long as possible. Hearts, missing beats. Pain in wing muscles, tensed to the limits. The "lightning" passed by. The silence swallowed it and reigned again in its kingdom. Moths breathed out in relief. This time their soup bubble didn't burst.

Eho was dozing on the bridge nearby her favourite strong dandelion when an enormous shadow covered the whole space around her. She was ready to flee in fear, but when she turned her head up, she saw it was not a giant unfamiliar stranger with unknown intentions in mind but a family friend, Quasar. Her heart was still pounding against her ribs like a woodpecker's beak against the wood, but she turned back to calm and squinted her eyes in delight. Now she had nothing to be afraid of with such a big friend on her side.
Soft murmur of the spring. Quiet song of the birds. Gentle whisper of the waving grass. A lullaby of the Forest, the best one for a morning nap. Tarter and Rosinka.
In a cosy napping pile, Ira and Eris were the cosiest. Like a birdling, safely wrapped in the warm fluffy feathers of a parent bird, Ira was well hidden in Eris's fur.
Just Rosi
No movement, no sound. They stood there like two ancient statues, watching the lake, filled with action, its surface disturbed with a swift koi dance, an insect touch or a wind folding the water mirror with a rare wave. Dozhd''s jewellery tinkled tenderly, throwing colourful sparkles to run at Quasar's (@moridarkdragondarkdragon) scales.
Vodopad doesn't really hunt, but he likes to pretend he does. It's one of his favourite games. Hunting often includes staring at someone with wide eyes from a hideout or hiding behind a tree, combined with silly jumping and running around like he was stung by a bee. Today Vodopad "hunts" Eris.
Vodopad is resting beside mossy tree, poppies waving in the wind around him. Soft purring fills the air. - Vodopad, like most of my deer, was created a few years ago before I left the Forest. He was purely inspired by Maria's (7FinalGirl8) wonderful characters. Today when I returned to him to refine his vague old design, this fact brought to me both warmth and tears. Unexpectedly the least loved of my creatures becomes another dear one that will share with me the memory. A soft and warm feline boy, fluffy Vodopad.
Podorozhnik noticed him from afar. A huge mountain of a creature resting at the foot of a tree. He curiously crawled nearer, hiding in the shadows of the trees to get a better look. "Huuuuge!" thought Podorozhnik amazingly, gazing at Ingólfr. Here he stayed, cosily hidden in the ferns, and fell asleep soon.
