Cullen in a nutshell I guess? <3

Looking into Cullens tired eyes Elyse asks her lover,

“Would you stand proudly beside me at the winter place?”

His brow furrowed eyes searching her face he saw it, her insecurity and fear that she would be left to stand there an unwated mage in the midst of nobles and who knows what else.

“I would stay by your side.”

“As a templar to a mage?”

“You know it’s more complicated then that, you are the Herald -“

“I’m not” she interrupted.

‘You are. In my eyes and in the eyes of many. And though I would be glad to hold your hand and stand beside you as something more, well.” He sighed, “We must uphold your image.”

Elyse looked out the window to the mountains, Cullen was quick to reassure her,

“I would not be ashamed to stand beside you.”

“You have been.”

“Hush those worries for they are dangerous. Trust what I say to you my love.

Elyse had never wanted so badly to be a normal girl a normal woman. Not like she had since meeting Cullen. The closer they grew the stronger she desired something greater between them. Dreaming of things that would never come to pass.

Confession: I always wonder how Cullen got the Inquisitor from his desk to his bed. I mean they probably just climbed up the ladder but I like to think they fucked everywhere in the room and THEN climbed up the loft for round four or something.

Someone walked through the door and I was forced to hide under the desk. After the longest ten minutes of siding on the floor beside Cullen as he worked, he dropped a piece of paper on my head that read, ", I owe you," to which I just smiled. Finally the scout left the damn office and we rushed to lock the doors and moved things upstairs.
