so, after a few days of thinking, i have officially decided to close elysium for the time being. thank you so much to everyone who was a part of the family and supported us either through joining or just promoting, it honestly means the world. the rpg will definitely re-open (i’m already working on the revamped plots, honestly...) but as of right now, i feel that it would be best for me to step away, re-group and come back with a stronger version of the rpg that keeps everyone involved and engaged.

With fall in full swing and Halloween right around the corner, it’s time for Elysium’s annual Fall Festival! Set in a bewitched corner of Central Park and open only to students and members of the magical community, the Festival is the premiere event of the fall semester, with games, food and good times galore! It is a three-day event (kicking off on Wednesday evening until Friday evening) and comes just in time to bring the community a much-needed break after midterms and to kick off Halloween weekend — when the fun continues with the much-anticipated House of Haunts and Mythical Creatures.
This haunted house event transforms Lavender Hall into a labyrinth of terror and will be open to the magical public on Friday and Saturday starting from 8PM until 12AM — students receive free entry, so make sure to come early!

Alright, everyone — as promised, our first event has arrived! Threads for the Fall Festival can be started at any time between Wednesday (7PM~) and Friday (~10PM) and starting anytime Friday night, you can begin the House of Haunts and party (details on the gossip blog; finally open!) threads until Sunday evening.
Things to note:
EVENT CHALLENGE: Instead of only throwing up opens or plotting for your existing connections, we want you to plot a substantial thread with a character you’ve never written with or plotted with in the RP — something that will lead to a concrete connection.
You can write threads for this event on any platform (skype/aim/dash/etc.), as long as the threads end up on your blog one way or another.
As mentioned, clubs / student groups can have booths at the fall festival. If your group is interested in having a booth, please let me know by early morning Thursday so that I can make a post indicating which groups will be involved.
Threads do not have to be finished by the end of the weekend; you can continue threads for this event for as long as you like as long as they are started before the deadlines.
If you aren’t here for the weekend, don’t despair! This event will have a part two that will focus very heavily on more development-focused tasks! :)
For the duration of this event, we will be using the tag ‘elysium:halloweekend’ to easily find threads related to the event and for costumes, use the tag ‘elysium:costumes’. Find more info about that on the party post!
