if you want your life to be easy, please don’t let the rules of this reality trick you into thinking it has to be the same in your dr. just because you’ve been taught that things need time or effort doesn’t mean it has to be that way there. i need you to understand that.

How I see it, in your experience you only perceive one ''3d'' as people call it, at a time. So one physical reality, one 'something' that you're experiencing.
That doesn't mean that everything else doesn't exist or happen, but in your experience, you perceive one reality (unless you go somewhere where you're experiencing more things at once, but that makes it too complicated right now). That means that your dr exists right now, but for you, it's not physically happening. When you shift, you don't travel there, your experience around you changes to something new. So when you're in your dr, this place exists, but it's not physically happening.
It's exactly why I always affirm that you can script easily for this reality as well. If you want to skip time, go to the past, change something, add something, it's easy!
So technically speaking the answer to your question would be, that once you permashift, this reality doesn't even exist for you in that moment, and therefore, whatever happens to you here just kind of depends on your own beliefs and comfort!
However, obviously other people exist as well, and you might shift to your dr, and I might still be perceiving this reality. Where, if you never come back, I would never know you shifted in the first place. And neither would you here. You'd just keep living like normal, try to shift like normal, and probably shift again at some point.
An example of this is a long time ago, when I shifted to a waiting room me and my best friend had, and decided to skip some time while I was there. I wanted to come back to around the time she got done working here. But by the time I actually got back, we were already on the phone, and minutes before that I had told her that I tried shifting but it didn't work.
Back then I didn't really know yet that I could just intend to come back to the exact moment I wanted to come back to!
I could make it even more complicated by talking about how we shift all the time, and therefore everyone around you, and you included, are shifting constantly and you would also never realise that because it's completely natural. But I think that's going to be too complicated.

“an assumption, though false, persisted in will harden into fact”. your thoughts, beliefs and assumptions create your reality. we are used to thinking that 3d is our true reality, but this is not so. 3d is a mirror that reflects your 4d
if you want something, then all you have to do is decide that you already have it and be persistent. many of you misunderstand the meaning of this word in the context of the law of assumption. repeating affirmations, listening to subliminals for 24 hours and doing methods at every opportunity is not persistent. “persistence is remaining in a state of fulfilled desire. to be persistent means to stick to your assumptions regardless of what 3d reality shows you. if you react to 3d, then you are not persistent”
by reacting to 3d, you do not allow new assumptions to form in your subconscious. imagine that 3d asks again and again if you are sure that you have mastered void, shifting realities, lucid dreaming, etc. “are you sure? are you 100% sure? but you said before that you always fail. i don't think you're sure. look, you woke up again in this reality without desires. what? do you really believe what you're saying? i ask you again, are you absolutely sure?”. instead of giving a positive answer every time, you immediately give up and scroll through tumblr looking for a new method. you must be persistent, even if you do not get what you want in 3d after a week, a month or a year
(this is a bit of an exaggeration because i said it as an example., but i forbid you to think that manifestation lasts that long. “both 3d and 4d always show me only what i want to see. my 3d instantly reflects my 4d,” — this is your new assumption, whether you like it or not)
if you have negative thoughts, and we most likely will, then immediately replace them with positive ones. negative thoughts also include anticipation of desire. remind yourself again and again that you already have what you want and you are not waiting for it to manifest itself. if you catch yourself thinking that you are waiting for your manifestation, then remind yourself that you already have it
don't think that negative thoughts are ruining your progress or that you have to start over. no, as long as you are on a mental diet, you are doing everything right. by the way, posts about mental diet that you must read:

important part. manifest your desires. solve any problems using the law of assumption. you can do it right now, you don't have to wait until you enter the void or shift. it's easy. all you have to do is decide. i’m not asking you to affirm, listen to subliminals, do sats, etc. you just need to think that you already have everything you want and be persistent in this assumption
want a new phone? ok, just decide that it's already yours. you don't have to try to enter the void tonight to manifest a new phone. do you have the flu? decide that you are always healthy (by the way, this does not mean that you should not take medications. take them, but be persistent in the assumption that you never get sick). again, you don't even have to move your fingers. besides, negative beliefs will not make your life better. do negative thoughts fulfill your desires? no, so why pay attention to them? just enjoy the feeling of fulfilled desire. just enjoy the fact that you always get what you want
by the way, manifest something "unrealistic". telekinesis, magic wand, the ability to fly or talk to animals. there’s nothing difficult about randomly remembering once a day that you can fly, right? let your subconscious know that you can literally do anything
PERSISTENCE
my honest opinion: if you are not able to be persistent, your desire is not that important to you. if you react to 3d and give up, then you don’t want to change your life so much. in order to manifest what you want, you need to be persistent in a new assumption
4d is true reality, 3d is a mirror. live in your imagination, live in the end, only then will 3d reflect your new assumptions and beliefs. these people achieved success because they accepted that imagination is the only reality. you are no worse than them. you can be persistent. and you will be persistent
know that your failure will not affect my life in any way. but it will affect you. if you finally become persistent, then you will get everything you dreamed of all that time. do it for yourself. do it for the sake of experimentation. what if you succeed?
METHODS
let's start with the method of manifestation. all i require you to do is decide, be persistent, ignore 3d, replace negative thoughts with positive ones. this is literally the basis of the law of assumption
in addition to this, you may want to use manifestation methods such as robotic affirmations, subliminals, sats, meditation, etc. overall i'm 50% okay with it. everything is fine as long as you don't put methods on a pedestal. if you start to think that without following one of the methods you will not be able to manifest your desires, then this is a red signal. just relax. you will shift, enter the void void, do astral projection, etc., even if you don’t repeat affirmations from morning to evening or don’t listen to your entire playlist. don’t force yourself to lie on your back and visualize the desired reality during sats. do what you like and when you want it. affirm, visualize, make mood boards, etc., but don’t make it a mandatory action. don't force yourself to do anything you don't want to do. and remember you change 4d and 3d, not methods
and i also urgently, on my knees, beg you to abandon methods for void, shifting, sleep paralysis, lucid dreams, etc. if you knew how wonderful it is to lie on your side at night and just fall asleep. no need to lie on your back, affirm, visualize, count. you just fall asleep without setting alarms for wbtb. no meditation, pink noise, theta waves. you don’t feel guilty or angry because you’re too lazy to do the methods. you don't scold yourself because you roll over on your side and fall asleep in the middle of the method. you don't feel disappointed that the method didn't work (in 3d, of course). this is a relief and peace that you could have experienced all this time, but for some reason you denied yourself it

MENTAL DIET

there are times when you have to break a mental diet. what to do? lie. say the “truth” out loud, but in your mind persistently deny it. for example, your mother asked how you passed your physics test. give her an “honest” answer, but mentally affirm over and over again that you passed the test. review this moment. but if someone on this site asks you, for example, have you ever shifted, you can either safely ignore it, or say that you have already shifted a million times because you decided so
TIME
stop waiting. stop waiting for you to shift or enter the void state. stop waiting for your first lucid dream, sleep paralysis and astral projection. time doesn’t exist you already have your desires. if you notice that you are waiting for your manifestations, then immediately remind yourself that you already have everything you want! don't count the hours, days, weeks. there is only the eternal now and it is up to you to decide what you are thinking about at this moment

if you catch yourself thinking that you are waiting for manifestation, immediately change this thought to a positive one. forget about waiting and worry. these feelings will not make your life better. forget about such nonsense as time lag
CIRCUMSTANCES
i know many of you may have difficult circumstances. but thinking about it you only complicate your life. your thoughts, assumptions and beliefs create your reality. please ignore 3d and your life will become much easier. know that people before you have succeeded in unbearable circumstances (poverty, abuse, death of loved ones, illness). they had doubts just like you, but they lived in the end and were persistent (+ this)
this doesn't mean you can't cry or be angry. no matter what you do, only what you think has power. give vent to your emotions, but be persistent in the fact that you have already succeeded. yes, it can be difficult and unusual, but you have to do it if you want to get rid of undesirable circumstances once and for all
do you have painful periods? cry, don’t hold back your tears, but insist that this is not so. be persistent in the fact that you have pain-free periods
are your abusive parents beating you again? scream and cry with anger, hit the pillow, but please ignore the 3d. repeat again and again that you are already in your desired reality, where you have loving parents

NO WAY!! your past self probably got bored of being SOO good at it, and going to so many cool places... that they decided they wanted to experience it again! yeah, youve heard this before... but expanding on this? dont you think theyd LEAVE you with something if they were such a master shifter? dont you think... maybe all these problems you have are motivation theyve left you to shift away? i mean, imagine if you erased your memories, wanted to shift again but you were in a perfect world... heck no you wouldnt wanna shift!! it would be too perfect!! this is just a theory, but something thats motivating me... what if your past self scripted you'd find shiftblr? what if they scripted all these problems just SO you'd finally shift? i mean, we always say "why me" but maybe its for a GOOD reason!!! maybe, you dont have to stress at all ever because... your past self had everything planned and KNEW you'd do it because its all planned out? i meann... maybe all these problems are just them pushing you, maybe the motivational posts are pushes to attempt more, maybe the fact you found a piece of media or place you wanted to shift to really bad isnt just random, its fate!! i dont know, thinking its all fate and that its all going to happen no matter what calms me down, but i dont know how everyone else feels about it.
its LITERALLY fate for you to shift. dont worry, your past self knew what they were doing, they probably expected you to get upset, to get angry and wanna quit... but they KNOW you wont because its in our fate to shift. thats why we keep going no matter what!!!!
reminder that this reality is not more "canon" than your desired reality. it's not the original or the first one, it's just the one you've been aware of for the longest time consecutively. example, your family here is not your "canon" family and your desired reality is not an AU (alternate universe) fanfic. it is fully valid and real and original and canon. and you are not obligated to have the same family in your dr, dont feel guilty if you want different parents or siblings in your dr.
noticing a pattern with my shifts. every time i just intend casually instead of commanding it, i shift. the moment i start intending expectantly or with that thought of “let’s see if this works” i don’t shift lmfao.
this is just proving more and more that i don’t need to do anything to shift, i just need to stop interrupting it by being overly aware.
You don't need to try to manifest. You can have shit fall into your lap and not have to work for ANYTHING. I said what I said. It's high time we just embrace getting what we want without working for it. Hustle culture is so toxic and harmful, and it literally makes no sense that we "have to work for what we want" when this was just a manmade concept. The Earth did not come with a manual that said "you need to work for what you want." It was created by us. If you personally want to work for your desires, fine. Do that. But don't shit on people who like/desire shit falling into their lap and don't tell them it's not possible. Anything is fucking possible.
If you choose not to believe that you don't need to work for what you want, then don't be surprised when that's exactly what you have to do. You manifest who you are, not what you want. You can't manifest effortlessness when you're the workaholic who has to work for every single thing they want. And if you're gonna assume you have to work for what you want, for the love of all things good, PLEASE at least assume that there's a 100% chance that you'll get it. We can't be doing this "I tried so hard and I didn't get it" in 2026. Either you are the person with it or you just aren't. No more "I tried and it failed" shit.
Decide that you are the one who just has all their desires fall into their lap. Idk about y'all but my shit falls straight into my lap with no effort because it's MINE already. Not 'desires.'
If you refuse to let it be effortless, don't be confused as to why others get their shit effortlessly when you assume that it's only realistic to grind for it. Be so for real.
i like to think of shiftblr (or any shifting community really) as an airport, a place where we all hang out before everyone goes somewhere. some shifters go home, some go on vacation, some just go visiting a friend, but everyone’s getting on a flight and is in the airport for a purpose.
so just get on ur flight and stop hanging out at the airport twin!
You wake up, realise you're still "here", and you go on with your day overanalyzing everything. Then you go to bed, spend 2 hours on TikTok, and read hundreds of Tumblr posts, like this one. You lie down, try it, and the next day you do exactly the same.
I've been through this hundreds of times, and the worst part is that it doesn't matter what I say, whether to you or to myself, nothing will change.
The only thing you can change is yourself, and I cannot do that unless you do. Everyone can give you tricks, motivation, storytimes, etc, but none of them will really work if you just keep putting up excuses.
You can live like that, with the eternal hope that one day you can wake up in your dr. I'm not saying that doesn't work, because hundreds of people ended up shifting like that.
But do you want to wake up every morning with that feeling? Like doesn't matter what you do, you will never get it. You can change that, not by doing more, because you don't need to do anything, but by trusting yourself more.
But, again, you're the one who has to do it.
When you go to bed tonight, and you say, "I'm shifting," bitch, you better believe it.

if you’re honest with yourself, everything you read lately is a different angle on the same point, or something you already knew. don’t force yourself to overthink. you know more than enough by this point.
some of you spend so much of your time thinking you owe the universe some sort of hardship before you get what you want. that you must suffer so that shifting feels “earned.” i hate to be the one to break it to you but you’ve seen too many movies. you’ve romanticized your own hardship as some sort of aesthetic prerequisite.
you don’t need to suffer. you don’t need to heal every single wound. you don’t need to “perfect” your mind or overcome 10,000 “blockages” over a blood moon. you can skip straight to the part where it's already yours. bcs well….it is!
the ache of longing isn’t some sort of spiritual currency. trauma isn’t some sort of golden ticket.
the multiverse doesn’t need your character development or your tears as validation. it doesn’t need a slow burn. every version of you already exists!!! yes. really. the one who’s thriving. the one who’s living your dream. the one who’s shifted.
you do not need to “earn” shifting through suffering or surviving. it's already yours. no montage or struggle arc or dramatic rain soaked breakdown required (amazing i know!!).
your dr isn’t a prize. genuinely. it’s an place you tune into. like changing the radio to a different station. no fade out. just the next song already playing.
you’re not too late or losing time. you’re don’t need to pay dues in blood to be where you want. the multiverse is endless and impartial. it gives you the remote and says “pick the channel. no fine print.”
choose to become aware of the scene already playing.
you are always only one action away from getting back on track. be it a single thought, a quiet assumption, or an internal decision you make in your journey. whatever form it takes, it’s enough. the door to shifting and manifestation never closes, it’s always open. patient, never stops glowing. all you need to do is be willing to take that one step.

I shifted (even for seconds) while doing no method. my mooties FULLY shifted with no method. some even just meditate, affirm, sleep, then shift. YES IT'S POSSIBLE. STOP RELATING TO THOSE "HAHA I DIDN'T SHIFT BECAUSE I'M LAZY" POSTS!! If sleeping is your preferred method, then let it be and keep persisting! I pinkie promise that you'll shift doing something you're MOST COMFORTABLE WITH!
