she pulls her hand back , raking it through her wild golden tresses . she listens to his plans , nodding along , dropping her hand to her hip . “ well , we already know one of her forces , ruby told us who he was . maybe we can try and figure out if he’s working with someone , see if we can nail two birds with one stone . ” she reports, then she purses her lips in thought as she considers the rest of his plan . it doesn’t sound bad in hindsight – cover all their bases , keep training everyone , make sure they stop salem’s forces from dividing atlas and mantle even further than they already have . “ okay , well , we should secure jinn first , then . we can get the lamp somewhere safe so it’s one less thing to worry about , then we can focus on everything else . ” she suggests .

“Do you mean, secure Jinn as in…use the final question?”

The words were hesitant. Cautious as his gaze flickered to the side a moment. Apologies and second (or was it third?) chances aside, the immortal was well aware that things had changed. He wasn’t the leader they followed anymore. He wasn’t in control and that…it was unnerving, but he wouldn’t try and force the power back. Doing so would only make everything worse. He would just…have to work with this, and…hope that he wasn’t making a mistake.

“Because while I know doing so is rather tempting, it is…something we will all come to regret terribly if a situation arises where we need it. I have learned such from experience. Though…as the lamp is no longer in my possession, that will simply be my…two cents as it were, when we all come together to discuss.”

she shakes her head , wild blonde tresses swaying to and fro , “ no , no , i don’t mean using a question , i just mean that we should hide it so none of salem’s goons try and get it . uncle qrow told us about the winter maiden and her age , so i don’t think we can try and ask her to open the vault for us . what i’m thinking is we hide it somewhere else in the academy , where only you and the general have access to . ” she explains her idea of a plan , folding her arms over her chest . “ though you’re right , this would be better and easier if we were to have everyone here to give any opinions . ” she agrees .
