Talk It Out // Nathan and Ember
Ember was shooken up as she let him hold her. “You were my everything Nate.” She spoke and looked down before pulling away. “I let you go. I don’t deserve you.” She said her voice a whisper looking up and into his eyes. “I um I got my clothes today for the set tomorrow.” She spoke softly. “As she got up. “Wait here.” She spoke as she took off and went to change in a short skirt and a red bra with a white button down shirt. “I am nervous. You were my first everything Nate and now this.” She said twirling for him.
Nathan shook his head as she went to get up. “You don’t have to—okay..” His voice trailed off when she left the bathroom and he went back out into her apartment. He stood, taking in her appearance putting his hands back in his pockets. “It looks great.” He told her with a small smile and nod.
Ember looked at him and bit her lip. "I think this is the most slutty thing I wore." She spoke as she walked up to him and kissed his cheek. "I'm sorry for just showing up here like this. I know I always show up at the wrong times." She said as she let her fingers trail along his face. "You were my first love." She said as she looked down at the necklace. "I-I've never take it off." She spoke and looked up into his eyes.

Ember closed the door behind him and looked around the room nervously. “I-I um I-I sorry.” She spoke. “He is my father Nathan…I-I wanted to believe you. I did.” She said as she paced around the room running her hands through her hair. “I wouldn’t be shocked to say the least if he paid that girl to set it up to make it look like you were cheating.” She spoke and bit her lip. “My dad um well I did date the guy he want me to because honestly…I-I loved you. I never had gotten the chance to tell you that I-I was falling and falling hard for you” She said as she looked up at him as tears filled her eyes. “I wanted to believe you Nate and I now see the truth.” She said and bit her lip and walked into her bathroom and wiped her eyes before jumping up and sitting on the sink. “H-He kicked me out.” She spoke softly so the man could hear. “When I refused to date that one guy he kicked me out.” She said. “I lied about them needing money.” She spoke.
Nathan watched her pace around, hating that she was getting so worked up and was so nervous around him. Of course, he was nervous too much she seemed way more nervous than he’d ever seen her before. Her words were hard for him to hear. He’d spent a lot of time trying to forget her after everything happened, and her coming back into his life unexpectedly had thrown him off. Before he could respond to anything she said, she had gone into the bathroom. When he heard what she told him, he made his way into the bathroom and stood in front of where she sat. Putting his arms around her he gently pulled her into his chest, hugging her. “I can’t believe he kicked you out.. I’m so sorry, Ember.” He said softly.

As soon as she opened the door, Nathan looked down at her. He noticed her cover the necklace she was wearing, but not before he realized it was the same one he’d bought her. Deciding against saying anything about it, he gave her a small smile. “Hey.” He said quietly. While she talked, he just stood in the doorway, listening to her. He knew that she tended to get distracted when she started talking, and he just nodded stepping inside her apartment. “It’s okay, I know how he was. I just.. I can’t believe you would think I would do that to you. I mean, after all we’d been through, you still believed I did it.. I think that’s what sucks for me.” He admitted, turning to look at her.
Ember closed the door behind him and looked around the room nervously. “I-I um I-I sorry.” She spoke. “He is my father Nathan...I-I wanted to believe you. I did.” She said as she paced around the room running her hands through her hair. “I wouldn’t be shocked to say the least if he paid that girl to set it up to make it look like you were cheating.” She spoke and bit her lip. “My dad um well I did date the guy he want me to because honestly...I-I loved you. You’re lucky, then. My manager likes to schedule me for them just to push my buttons.
I have a manager, but my first time shooting will be tomorrow.
Night shoots. Gotta love ‘em, huh?
I haven’t had any of those yet.
I-…I don’t know, Ember. Maybe, but I don’t know. Things are different now, it was a long time ago.
I know I don’t have to, I want to. It’s fine, I can come over.
I-I understand. I’m not the same girl you fell for Nate. I’ve changed. I um well I’m not the g-girl that needs daddy or you watching over her. I-I’ve grown.
I okay see you soon.
Talk It Out // Nathan and Ember
To say he was surprised when he had run into Ember earlier was an understatement. Honestly, Nathan thought he wouldn’t ever see the girl again and he wasn’t sure how to feel about the encounter. He had been stuck on her for a while, and finally was over her and now she was back in his life. Maybe going to her apartment and talking would only confuse him more, but he couldn’t find it in himself to turn her down. So he knocked on her apartment door, standing with his hands in his pockets as he waited for her to answer, his stomach already in knots.
Ember was waiting for him to show up. She had not been so nervous over a guy before except when her and Nathan first met. The girl had just gotten done from her run and was in her nike sport bra and shorts when she opened the door. “H-Hi Nate.” She spoke as she felt something dangling from her neck. It was the necklace he bought her for being with him for two months. The girl instantly moved her hand up to clasp it as she tried to hide it from his view. “I-I did not think you would come. The last time I saw you was the day I broke up with you.” She said looking down. “I-I if I knew my dad did this to us Nate I would have ran away with you.” The girl spoke softly. “I just...my father had me by the reins and made me believe. I-I just come in.” She spoke and ushered him in before closing the door.
I mean, I’m practically a stranger and you’re telling me some pretty personal details that I don’t really need to know.
I-I um I’m sorry. I just. I’m mixed up right now.
I liked you too, Ember. I didn’t hang out with her, she just showed up. And I never kissed her, I swear. I dunno, you know he never liked me.
Um.. yeah sure, I can come over and talk.
So you liked me as in past tense. Not like, like liking me now? I just I-I knew something was wrong with my father, I just think he would take it this far.
You know you don’t have to come over. I was just wanting to talk. If not I understand.
Uh, I don’t really know why or how I would know that.
What do you mean?
Sounds interesting, to say the least. Good luck with that one.
I still like him a lot you know...
That’s exactly what I’m telling you. Why would I kiss her? I wouldn’t do that to you.
Alright, if you’re sure.
I-I liked you a lot Nathan, I still like you. I-I just my dad showed me you hanging out with her and from behind it looked like you kissed her. Why would he do this to me?
Can you come to my apartment? I want to talk. Talk about the video, talk about you, me, and us.
Oh yeah, it was a really interesting time.
I get to fuck my ex.
That’s not true, Ember. I told you before, I didn’t do anything wrong – I don’t know what you’re talking about. I would never hurt you, I care about you.
It’s fine, alright? I’ll talk to them and see if they can find you someone else to shoot with. I don’t want you to be uncomfortable.
Are you telling me my daddy lied? He said he saw you kiss my enemy, that pretty blonde.
N-No please don’t do that. I just I rather it be you then a stranger...
So…that’s why you’re doing this? No no no, I’m Jackson. Are you sure you’re shooting with a Jackson?
I-I just I don’t have anything better to do. Why d-do you care? You are the one that hurt me.
I am positive. I-I can’t shoot with you. Th-this is a mistake. You were my first and I promised myself that I wouldn’t sleep with you after we broke up.
Oh…wait, did he make you do this?
N-No...Ever since we broke up guys have been looking at me like I’m a piece of meat. Anyway I am going to shoot tomorrow do you know a guy named Jackson?
