You can’t rush perfection, babe, sorry about your luck. You can do it, maybe it won’t be so bad and it’ll go by quick? How about I get you a wheelchair and I’ll push you around?
I can do anything if I put my mind to it. There’s nothing quick about being pregnant. A wheelchair sounds lovely. Then it’ll just be you paying me back for when I did it for you.
You know I would, but I’ve lost a lot of muscle lazing around the past several weeks. Plus our little watermelon is quite big now.
You should like, hurry up and gain it all back and more while I’m still pregnant. I don’t know how I’ll be able to do this for like, four more months. I’m more than aware of how big our watermelon is. That’s why I need you to carry me.
Big things are happening and I’m too excited and happy to work.
Who’s got two thumbs and is finally not in any sort of cast anymore? This guy!
Good, now you can carry me around.
hi I'm still alive barely. but it's my last day of classes yayay and then I'll be active again wooo
Exploring Paris / Dallia
“So do you, love.” He smiled, lightly squeezing her shoulders. Words couldn’t describe how happy Amelia had made him. Even when they weren’t dating, she was his best friend and now he was going to get to spend the rest of his life with her. “I love you.” He hummed.
Amelia kept her head rested on his shoulder, and her smile remained across her lips. “I love you, as well.” She replied happily. “If we get any sappier, I might start crying though because my emotions are all over the place right now thanks to our little watermelon.” She explained with a small laugh as the boat ride finally began.

After paying, Dallas followed her onto the boat and sat down next to her. Smiling, he put his arm around her shoulder pressing a kiss to her forehead and pulling her a little closer to him. “You make me really happy, I hope you know that.” He whispered, feeling the strange need to tell her how much she meant to him.
A grin spread across Amelia’s face as she heard him. Glancing up at him, she leaned up to kiss his cheek. “I’m really glad. You deserve to be happy.” She explained to him with a soft smile before hiding her face in his neck. “You make me extremely happy. You basically saved my life..” She whispered quietly.

Amelia smiled up at him, letting him take his time, since she didn’t really know how long he would want to stay, considering how emotional that could potentially be for him. Reaching down, she took his hand and gave him a loving kiss on the cheek before slowly leading him away from the bridge and down the street. Thankfully the place wasn’t too far away, and she lead him down towards the river. “There’s really nothing better than being able to see all of Paris at sunset.” She told him with a grin as she walked with him down to the boat ride building on the edge of the river.
Dallas pushed thoughts of his parents to the back of his mind as Lia pulled him away. He wanted to enjoy this time with her and so he wouldn’t let his guilt get in the way. Following behind her, Dallas smiled at her words. Although he’d been to Paris a few times, he never went on a boat ride so he was glad to get to do it with Amelia for the first time. “I’ve never done this before.” He told her with a smile.
Amelia kept ahold of his hand as she lead them to the line to pay. "Really? It's amazingly beautiful. And you get to see everything." She explained with a smile. Thankfully there was a boat leaving in a couple minutes, so she walked with Dallas onto the boat and found a seat on top in the back. Once they were seated, she leaned up against him as they waited.

Humming, Dallas took a deep breath before nodding. “Yeah, I’m ready.” He smiled, taking one last look at their lock around his parents and looked down at her. “I’m sure I’ll love it, let’s go then.”

Dallas grinned, taking the lock from her and closing it around the same one his parents had put there a few years ago. Stepping back next to her, he put his arm around her before pressing a gentle kiss to her temple. “Thank you.” He whispered, squeezing her shoulder lightly.
Amelia wrapped her arms around him and smiled as she glanced up at him. “Are ya ready to go to the next place I had in mind?” She asked as she leaned against his side. “It’s still a surprise though, but I think you’ll love it.” She explained with a small chuckle.

“I’m sure it’ll be fine.” He assured her, laughing softly. Watching her write, he smiled before taking her hand and walking down the bridge a little bit. “Let’s see if I can find it.” He mumbled, searching the countless locks for the one his parents had put on it years ago. His eyes caught it and he took it in his hand, looking over the writing for a few moments. “This is the one my parents put here.” He said quietly and then turned to her, holding out his hand for the lock. “Can we put ours on theirs?”
Amelia followed along slowly as Dallas looked around. As soon as he stopped, she moved to stand next to him and looked down at the lock. A smile spread across her face as she handed him the lock. “Of course we can. Gotta keep the Stevens’ tradition going.” She told him with a smile and a playful nudge with her elbow.

“Yeah, I guess that is a good thing.” He laughed, shaking his head. “You can keep it if you want, I’ll get another one, yeah?” He suggested, smiling down at her for a moment before quickly going and buying another lock, going back over to her and handing it to her with the marker. “You can write on it this time.” He grinned.
Amelia smiled and tucked the lock into her purse then waited for Dallas to return. Once he returned, she took the lock and marker from him and thought for a moment. “No matter what I put, it’s not gonna come close to what you put.” She said with a laugh before looking back at the lock. Deciding to go with something simple, she put their initials, the date and a cute little heart. “That’ll do. Now where shall we put it?” She asked as she looked around, trying to find a remotely empty space.

Placing the ring on her finger, he moved his arms around her waist kissing her back. “I love you too, babe.” He told her, holding her close. He pulled back slightly, a smile still on his lips. “I’ve had that ring in my back pocket for weeks, ya know?” He laughed softly brushing his lips against hers.
Amelia grinned at what he told her. “Have you really? It’s a good thing I haven’t tried to grab your butt then.” She teased with a giggle and kissed him again. “I kinda wanna keep this lock though, not gonna lie.” she told him as she removed her arms from around his neck and ran her thumb over the lock that was still in her hand.

“Thank goodness, I was getting worried for a second.” Dallas grinned widely, standing up and pressing his lips against hers. After a few moments, he pulled away and took the ring from inside the box. “Want me to put it on you?” He asked, holding it up unable to keep from smiling. For weeks he’d been wanting to do this, and although it was a split second decision he was glad he’d waited until this very moment – it was perfect.
“How could I say no?” She asked with a giggle before kissing him back lovingly. Her lips curled into a small pout when he pulled away, but it almost instantly turned back into a smile as she nodded and held out her hand for him. After he had placed the ring on her finger, she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him again. “I love you so much.” She whispered against his lips.

Opening the small box to reveal a ring, Dallas’ smile grew at her reaction. “No, I’m joking.” He teased with a small laugh before figuring he should do the proper thing and kneel down in front of her. People were staring, but he didn’t care. “Lia, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?” He asked, looking up into her eyes.
Amelia laughed as he teased her and she moved her hand from her mouth to her eyes to wipe away the tears that had formed. When he knelt down in front of her, she couldn’t hide the grin on her face and she shook her head. “I would love to marry you.” She replied as she tried her best to keep her emotions together, which was a difficult thing for her to do.

Dallas rolled his eyes playfully at her comment. “My writing isn’t bad.” He defended himself, keeping the lock out of her view as he wrote the words carefully on it being sure to make it easy to read. He capped the marker before handing her the lock with a smile on his face as he reached around to his back pocket to replace the marker in his hand with the small box, waiting to open it until she looked up at him.
Amelia waited patiently for him to finish writing and smiled once she took it from him. Her eyes widened as she read the words ‘will you marry me?’ and she froze for a moment before she looked up at him, with her jaw still dropped. “Are you serious right now?” She asked as she brought her free hand up to cover her mouth, as if that would stop her tears from falling from her eyes.
