Let’s Talk Hosiery - Glamory Review
Hey #EmbodiBeauties! I’ve been really into all things lingerie, shape wear and hosiery lately. Maybe it’s that brands have been extending to plus or just providing sexier options but I’m all about it.
Today let’s talk hosiery!
I recently received a pair of thigh highs from the Glamory Hosiery "Hold-Ups" Collection and wanted to share my thoughts on these tights.
Glamory Hosiery specializes in providing hosiery for little, tall and curvy women, men, bi-gender and agender people. Talk about inclusivity!
First things first - THE FIT
I chose to size up with this particular style, mostly because of my experience with other brands of thigh highs. Other pairs that I've gotten from plus size retailers even, tend to not stretch as much in the lace. This means they either won't go up very far above the knees and/or they won't stay there. I'm 5' 8" and I have long legs so I tend to have a harder time finding the perfect fit. There is a size chart included and I’d say it seems accurate.
Typically thigh highs without a garter belt would roll down, especially if you're #teamthickthighs like I am. Glamory Hosiery did us a favor and included a silicone band around the inside of the lace. This band gently sticks to the skin to make sure the thigh highs stay up. THANK YOU!
The material is nice and smooth which helps with not getting runs in them as well. The lace is nice and sturdy, even with the elastic, so you likely won't tear through it when pulling them up.
THE COLOR
I can honestly say I could've stuck with my normal size, especially for a more sheer coverage. The pair I ordered was black and it is definitely nice and opaque, obviously the more stretch, the more sheer they become.
And last but definitely not least, PRICE POINT.

Overall I’m a fan. I will be purchasing some of the other styles to add to my collection.
