WE ARE HAVING A NEW BABY!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ...This was my diary entry on August 23, 2014 :) I was out of Cyprus for a few days and found out the news by phone!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Alexia at @sweetmamaphoto has posted her own account of that magical moment on her own instagram (@sweetmamaphoto). It is so touching, I thought I would copy her post here:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "I remember that day as if it were yesterday! I recall standing in front of the sink, hands covered with paints after a painting session with Demetra, and getting ready to prepare meal. I remember he then said “i am so happy! I must get us that amazing Bjorn so I can carry both the kids on me, and also a gift for you! Would you prefer a....’ and his voice trailed off.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I was no longer paying attention, to what he was saying... Because, oh, if he knew, I already had the only gift I ever needed. He was on the other side of the line, she was in front of me standing with her hair covered in paint, and my little one was comfortably tucked inside my tummy! I am loving the details from Ruud and Pantelitsa’s wedding! A pocket-watch that has been in the groom’s family for generations. Tulip and wheat, for the groom and bride's Dutch and Cypriot families. Today, my daughter and I talked about beauty. "People call me beautiful", she said. I wish people noticed she is also caring, sometimes wild and untamed but always respectful, eager to help the younger children, musically talented, strong, kind to animals.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I believe in unique beauty. I believe in standing out and loving each other for our differences.
