Floating isn't aimless. Was the aim not to enjoy the water? The meditations? Why can't you see a 'point' in doing something that soothes your senses? My Taurean ass has mastered this. Hedonism is the art of healthily communicating with your senses. The body was never made to be neglected, and taking care of it may not make sense in an action oriented society. However, to one that necessitates luxury before work, it is law.

Reasoning is more complex than we're led to believe by this capitalistic society that lets us act like mad dogs to get to a point B. Most of us no longer get the 'point' in self serving actions because we'd rather be fed points with guaranteed results. Cultivating yourself requires you to understand how many nonsingular "points' exist. The critical thought you'll use will force you to stop thinking of life as de facto equations. You won't ever have all of the answers because life isn't a question. Questions end, life does not.

I like to think of manifestation in terms of astrology as well. Your sun, mercury, venus, jupiter, and saturn can definitely tell you how best to manifest.

Honestly the fact that there are two ways to interpret astrology (tropical and sidereal) blows me because how can we place any importance or separation in the signs if a person can display strong energies from two signs at the same time? How can a Scorpio sun be akin to a Libra sun when the energies are clearly stated? I don't get how both can be true without debasing astrology as we know it.

Honestly I'd love to do some good research into astrology that caters specifically to Black people, considering much of our expressions are stifled or varied due to white supremacy or our cultures. Just like depression & other mental illnesses manifest themselves differently in Black people, I don't doubt that astrology is similar—especially when you add the strong past life/ancestral ties & the racialized generational trauma we have that simply isn't explored by 'white' astrology.

So many people would actually hate themselves if you placed them in another person and had to see the way your ignorant decisions manifest outside of yourself. How quick you are to tell someone else you're unhappy with them when your imperfections are glaring. Hold a mirror up to yourself, see you for who you really are, and ask yourself if you would like that reflection as a stranger, friend, lover, etc. if it became a carbon copy of you right now. Would you still think you deserved respect? Love? Patience? Compassion? Or would you hate what you saw?

I don't believe in permanent ego death, or any sort of ego wounding tbh. The ego is our life force and in it do we find our life purposes and true existences. The ego should be active, and it it's not, then you hate the part of yourself that wants to take pride in your own actions. If you find yourself so wonderful that you'd love yourself, fuck yourself, befriend yourself, then you've found a happy medium between self healing, healthy interpersonal interactions, and self love. I see a discarded ego as the embodiment of the asteroid Chiron —wounded but wishing to heal everyone else. If I can't find any love for myself, I have none for you, and my self love is impossible without my ego. Don't destroy it because ego ≠ arrogance. Your sense of self should be immensely strong, so strong it dispels those that don't know who the fuck they are. Just check it.

This isn't meant to sound hotep-y at all but listen..everyone that follows me believes in the power of words. If you repeat affirmations that you're strong, confident, a bad bitch, etc. you will see that energy come over you during the course of that day. A tarot reader told me that she could sense I ruled over something major in my past (because a lot of my energy is apparently otherworldly) and told me that I would need to stop shying away from it in this life in order to thrive. So I started calling myself terms that align with deities and ever since, I've been moving different. I noticed that major fucking shift in my life. There's a power that comes when you use those terms and baby it shows.

A : It's not. I've been trading in it for years. The MLM scammers have fucked up its name but at its core it is literally just buying and selling currency. Y'all keep asking me about how to transmute energy. It's just about redirecting your attention to an emotion more useful to you. A great example I saw of this happened a while back on Twitter. Someone was talking shit about this person & their product, and after an entirely one sided argument, they said at the end that they were "unbothered". The person with the product found this hilarious and reiterated what their product is about and how it can help you be "unbothered". Even made "Unbothered" a product code to get 20% off for the night. The product owner took a raucous complaint from someone wishing the worst on them and ensured it made them money. Transmutation.

It's a journey to reparent yourself but most of us need to do it. I'm getting exhausted of seeing grown children everywhere. It's not cool to be so emotionally stunted. Figure out why you limit yourself so, and give yourself the love, patience, and compassion your parents failed to give you.

The law of attraction is so real. I swear, once you establish yourself as powerful, or strong, or independent, or business minded, people like you will flock your way out of nowhere. And it's just the universe reminding you that when you can see something beautiful in yourself, others can see it and admire it as well.

Q : What are your favourite things about being ruled by Venus? Also if you could pick another planet to be dominant for you which would you pick and why?

A : Hmm.

-I love that we use meaning (of life, of the moment, of people) in order to extract feelings and sensations.

We need to understand this meaning while we live in the moment, and once we do, the feelings/ sensations become essential to our living experience.

Our introspection is intuitive though unspoken language —Venus understands the shift in social behavior very well.

-Time is taken and attention to the details are revered. We understand that the small things make large differences to the whole picture. It's not simply about putting on clothes, we need to make sure the material is something our skin wants to rub against at that moment. It's not about eating, it's about ensuring the food tastes whole, pleasing, supple, and that it's beautiful to look at. It's not about listening to music, it's about hearing its layers, letting the different beats hit different parts of the body, and understanding the feeling it gives off.

-We take bold steps, even if we don't know if there's another step to take. We'll always arrange one, because tripping and stumbling in front of people is the last thing we'll ever let someone catch us doing. We go for what we want, but have mastered the art of making it look like everyone serves us instead. Venus represents the spoils of success, and that's what we make sure we do-succeed. Our creativity is purposefully unbounded.

-Trendsetting is our middle name. Aside from Uranian ruled people, we're the ones that garner enough polarized attention to get everyone listening. Venus is about community, so it makes sense that we can very easily bring others together. Either they love it or they hate it (or hate it now but love it later), but we will always be on the tip of people's tongues.

My other two dominant planets are Mercury and Uranus; I'd pick Uranus. It's given me a hardheaded streak that has made me successful. Most of what I enjoy doing is very unconventional and I find homes where the majority find hell. But I find comfort in being this way, because my originality shines through at all times. Though I am a rebel, I find myself obeying my patterned rebellion, because it's so satisfying. Couldn't imagine myself anywhere else.

A : I love this! I believe the best tip to help one live deliciously is learning how to be a maximalist. You feel like doing some yoga at home? Good, make sure you remember to light your candle and heat some water in a kettle for your post-yoga tea. You're enjoying your time at an event? Don't deny yourself the extra hors d'eourves or the opportunity to talk to someone you admire. You're walking down the same street for the 500th time? Go ahead and pop into that flower shop you've been eyeing. There are options to everything we do, and exploring those options happens to lead to our best lives--or at least, better versions of them.
