Celine can’t connect to the new honmoon and believes it’s because she’s unworthy of it and that it hates her. The real reason is that she’s so scared of showing faults and fears that it’s interfering with her ability to connect to the honmoon. She won’t admit or acknowledge it though.
She doesn’t tell anyone and avoids everyone especially Rumi due to having a major crisis about how she went about everything and believing everything will be fine if she just gives everyone space and ignore everything.
This only gets worse when one day she awake to see that she has patterns on her chest over her heart. Needless to say this does not help her mental or emotional state.
This will come to ahead when Rumi gets sick of everything and corners her demanding to k ow what’s going on and if Celine truly hates her for destroying the old honmoon.
Always love some heavy angst! Imagining Celine trying so hard to get through this conversation and just completely falling apart, absolutely horrified that she’s so often hurting Rumi, losing it
And Rumi fully does not get what’s going on but clearly she came to the wrong conclusion before
Very Important Detail Question: Are the patterns purple or iridescent?
Because obviously she'd be upset about succumbing to Gwi-Ma in some way, but imagine she somehow indebted herself to Rumi, and she's still trying to avoid her.
In fact, that's what tips Rumi off - she can feel that imbalanced connection (though of course she doesn't have experience with it, so she can't recognize it for what it is), sees that as the connection grows stronger Celine is avoiding her more, and deduces that they're related somehow.
Do you think it would hurt more if Celine can't recall what she sold her soul to Rumi for, or if she remembers EXACTLY what happened but didn't realize the ramifications for a brief period of time.
