All this means in Nesta is going to “heal” the same way Feyre did.
Aka: She’s gonna get some dicc and everyone is going to expect her to be All Better because it’s going to be coming from on of the IC who Loves Her So Much!!!!
yall b like: I hope tamlin is guilty for the rest of his life for something his father and brothers might have done even though they didn't have illyria on their map but somehow knew exactly which river would lead to the camp rhysand was in and also which camp he would even be in. : /
I saw this on twitter and I'm doing my best to not see of laughter tbh
loved being like 12 years old and making an OC and saying “yeah they’re a hardened criminal. they’re deeply involved in crime. they’re in a gang” and then never elaborating on that because i didn’t know how crime worked. this is still my approach
personally, I think it would have made more sense for Feyre's magic, you know the brand new magic she has now that shes a faerie and not human that she has no idea how to control and doesnt even understand the extent of, to randomly explode....and not Tamlins magic which he has been in perfect control of for like, going on 400 years.
Feyrug SA Tamlin at the calamti event. That’s how I see it. He told Feyre to stay away, she did not listen because she is an idiot. That right there is Tamlin saying “No” to Feyre sand ontop of that, Tamlin is under the influence of magic. Feyre was human at the time and could not(and still cannot) comprehend Fae magic and rituals and the culture. Tamlin telling her to stay away was there safest route. But no she was a jealous bitch and took advantage of a basically drugged Tamlin. So Feyre is an assaulted too.
🤷♀️I mean, you said what you said.
He revoked his consent. She ventured out because she was jealous.
A lot of people say she slapped him for biting her, but actually, she slaps him AFTER he pulls away from her because he tells her not to disobey him again. [Tbf, he only warns her off from very serious things....he even let's her go after the Suriel knowing it's dangerous so....I'd maybe listen to the male who's been living there and doing this his whole life??? maybe??? just a thought???] even though he does use bad word choices the message still stands.
The magic literally made him seek her out, and when he couldn't find her, it made him pick another. He could not have POSSIBLY said no to her if he had found her while she was out. He's starting to come down from the magic when they meet in the hall and that's the ONLY reason he manages to walk away.
She should have just stayed in her room, like she was warned to on multiple occasions by Lucien and Tamlin. Lucien even explained to her that the magic would make Tamlin seek her out....and she like.....thought it was hot?? The idea that he literally would not be able to make the conscious decision to NOT fuck her?? because "some feral part of him wanted her" or something.
Maam???? do you understand what is being said to you???
That was... something. I dont agree with any of this. I think sjm is terrible at framing any kind of abuse, but I dont think Feyre assaulted Tamlim here. There are valid critiques of Feyre's behaviour throughout the books, but this one was too far. Edit: the same way we cant blame Tamlim because of the magic, we cant blame Feyre either, because it was the magic all the time.
thennnnn idk what to tell you, because Tamlin is literally in a state where he cannot say no...and Feyre is thinking about how hot it is that he has her pinned to the wall and what else they could do and how hot it would be if he fucked her right then. So.
I mean if a girl is so drunk out of her mind that she cant consent and yet tries to have sex....is it not the sober person's responsibility to....not take advantage of them? Ok. So. If Tamlin is drugged out on magic that takes away his ability to consent...would it not have been her responsibility to not put him in that situation in the first place? By simply staying in her room like she was asked?
But no, she left because she wanted to see what women the magic was going to make him choose from....which is what eventually led to the scene in the hall, when she is leaving her room AGAIN, thus once again putting Tamlin is a situation where he is going to be forced to seek her out by the magic possessing him, AGAIN. So. No, they said what they said, Feyre absolutely did take advantage of Tamlin here.
Nothing MADE her leave her room. And there was no reason she should have. Tamlin and Lucien asked her to NOT put Tamlin into that position and....she ignored them. That was all Feyre, no magic needed.
do you have any opinions on the tamlin and briar (from acowar) theory? https://youtu.be/hxN5WxtO1Ss
ive....never really heard of it but imma go watch tht now bc I NEVER forgot Briar😭😭Briar sweetie I love you, get a life.
Thoughts on the Tamlin x Elain ship?
the what
Also, Rhys LIED and kept VITAL IMPORTANT HEALTH INFORMATION FROM HIS WIFE ABOUT HER PREGNANCY. That’s not cute, it wasn’t making sure she wasn’t stressed. You do not under any circumstances keep extremely important information in regards to your wife’s pregnancy from her. That is her body and she has the right to know, and Rhys kept it from her like the dickhead he is. But he is NOT a feminist, he was a creep from the first book. But SJM prettied up the writing to disguise abuse that Rhytrash does. And of course she loves him more so yes she will write Tamlin terribly in the next books. Keeping information in regards to a woman’s reproductive health is not feminism or being an ally, it’s being a manipulative controlling monster.
.
Feyrug is a war criminal and cultural appropriator, her trash can of a man rhytrash hasn’t done shit for the women of his city at all, barely making an inch of an effort to make them equal. Feyrug just wanted the fucking title and when Tamlin said no it’s not given it’s earned she threw a tantrum. She destroyed innocent peoples lives and displaced them because she doesn’t know how to handle anything. Rhys handed her the title of high lady because she’s is mate uwu she didn’t earn shit. She ended up with all the high lords powers because they brought her back from the dead and Tamlin knew if others found out her powers they’d come for her, and also she didn’t know how to use her powers(she doesn’t and abuses them). Rhysand is a rapist and manipulative jerk. If you gonna call out Tamlin, call out Rhys and Feyre too. The mun of this blog actually makes sense unlike that shit show of a blog.
LMFAOOO I DONT REMEBER WHAT THIS WAS about.
But...also, Tamlin say there are no high ladies was AFTER SHE SAID SHE DIDN'T WANT PEOPLE TO CALL HER THAT CAUSE SHE DIDNT KNOW IF SHE COULD HANDLE IT.
Literally what does she want???? This is not some awful misogynistic moment. He literally basically was like "babe. dont worry. you wont be a highlady you'll just be the lady of spring."
and suddenly??? THATS BAD??? WHEN SHE DIDNT WANT TO BE HIGHLADY IN THE FIRST PLACE???
She's like a little kid, bro. And I guess she kind of is one compared to everyone else in this series but like DAMN. GROW UP.
Ye this is why outside of american or perhaps some european audiences SJM isnt known, like I honestly didn't even know who she was until I used a VPN.
I dont know when I got this so I dont know WHY that is.....all I can say is
When I first read Rhy/s I was like cool he saved Feyrug from some creeps, but then utm happened and I am confused how any of the shit he did was out of love for Feyrug. He just seems like a bitter old man with an axe to grind and mad because Tamlin’s prettier and cooler.
it's not out of love, he literally says he did it because he was bitter tamlin "had her" and he could not. Later he says it was all part of his plan to protect her....those things....literally cannot co-exist. Either you pulled an Amarantha and abused her because you were mad at Tamlin(like how she is abusing Rhys bc she is mad at his father) or you were trying to protect her.
it's very clear which one of the two is true, considering he had no NEED to drag her out of her cell and no NEED to assault her. He did it because be could, and he wanted to. That's all.
Feyrug SA Tamlin at the calamti event. That’s how I see it. He told Feyre to stay away, she did not listen because she is an idiot. That right there is Tamlin saying “No” to Feyre sand ontop of that, Tamlin is under the influence of magic. Because Sarah J Maas needed Feyre to get bored of the spring court and in Feyre’s narration one reason why is that she’s tired of the spring time and she wants other seasons. Sarah needed the night court it be superior, as always.
r i p.
she should have just made all the courts experience all seasons, or she should have made the solar courts ONLY be their designated time. If you're going to go with magic, stick with it😭.
Honestly the world feels very....unalive. I don't understand what's going on, or why it"s happening. We never get an explanation for why the seasonal courts are eternally their season, but the solar courts are changing. We never really get to see the magic of the world, which makes it feel very flat. Like sure, we get Rhys powers and Feyre's powers but what about the actual Highlords?
At one point its said magic isnt just in the spring court, it grows there. And like, yeah it could have been a metaphor for the rolling hills and beautiful meadows but like,,,,it could have been LITERAL. It's a magical world and yet.....we don't experience that. Once Feyre leaves the spring court it becomes weirdly modern and just seems like a world were people have some magic abilities. But, I digress.
okay first off: they need to change where the anon button is because the amount of times ive accidentally clicked unfollow is hashhhhjsaj second: my friends and i are currently making fun of rhysand being such a weird name and the reason why is because it reminds us of the pokemon rhyhorn
WHY DO I SEE A RESEMBLANCE
ive been cackling at this for a good 5 minutes
😭😭😭leave tht pokemon alone rn hes never done anything wrong in his life
rh/ys had the potential to be a cool morally grey character, and i'm kinda sad that didn't happen. and there are so many ways fey/sand getting together could've happened. maybe fey/lin realizing they aren't compatible, and breaking up amicably? i don't understand why tamlin had to be demonized for fey/sand to be endgame.
That makes two of us. Tamlin and Feyre really could have just....broken up after UtM. They could have both had too much trauma to be in a relationship. They could have said eh we dont really work well together anymore. Feyre could have decided she wanted to travel the world and like....actually become familiar with and start to understand this place[Prythian] that is her new home. Feyre could have remet Rhysand during her travels. She could have travelled to Velaris or the CoN. This is how we could have been introduced to the world and the different courts. It even could have been as simple as Tamlin WAS just using her to save the Spring Court(which, I mean, fair enough.) and he isn't in love with her, just cares for her as he cares for everyone in his lands.
It could have been literally anything but what it was....it's like she doesnt know how to make anything unless there's some way for her to throw some kind of abuse in there and it just gets tiring.
I guess breaking up couples has never really been sjm's strong-suit though. (At this point I really don't know what is)
