A warning for a PC + Switch game that released a bit ago called Palia !! For one of the characters , Zeki , when interacting with him there's a voice line where it sounds like he's c* up a hair ball ; I'm on the more sensitive side on emetophobia though so it might not be as triggering to others (audio + no visual)

and another instance for Reth where if you tell him to eat the century egg you found its implied that he gets s* and runs off (no visual or audio , text based and no description outside of him saying he needs to go and runs off)

there's also a couple segments later in RE7 in a flashback. one is early in the flashback and you find a large amount of mold, and your character notes that the creator of the mold has been v*ing. much later after that, you find a friend who has been infected, and after he badmouths the creator he is consumed by the mold. during this sequence you get a very explicit, close-up scene of him v*ing. it should be v obvious when it's about to happen, though, so you have time to look away

Resident Evil 7

There is a point near the beginning of the game when you are force fed, and your character reacts with audible disgust. Nothing is shown and the sounds are somewhat ambiguous.

There is an enemy a decent way into the game which appears to follow the usual logic of these types of games (for example Left 4 Dead). It is obese and slow moving, and uses v* as its main attack. Unfortunately, this enemy cannot be avoided as the fight is scripted.

The boss fight that soon follows also includes a similar attack, but it is not the primary attack.

edit: Later on, as you are exploring, you will encounter more of the triggering enemies, sometimes in tight spaces with little room for strategy.

Near the end of the game there is a graphic photo of v* on a board filled with information about the infection.

I'd like to add to the Bo' Rai Cho post from long ago - he's a DLC character in Mortal Kombat XL so he isn't necessary to the game. That said, if someone DOES use him, he v****s during one of his Brutalities (which unfortunately results in the opponent doing the same...), the start of his X-Ray, and if he loses a round (just not the end of the final round). He can also make the opponent v**** for one of his Fatalities. Just want to give a heads up!

Witcher 3

At the end of the quest "Ugly Baby" when you perform the spell to break the curse on Uma, Uma v* graphically. Audio and visuals are both triggering, and afterwards there will be a scene of Geralt cleaning it up.

After you administer all the potions, look away, mute and keep skipping dialogues for a bit. I unfortunately didn't count how long it takes, but it should be a few before its done. If you look back and you're given an option to tell a story, you're safe.

Hello! I dunno if y'all have this yet, but in Shin Megami Tensei IV after completing the quest "Peallaidh Extermination" (which is a main quest and unfortunately cannot be avoided), one of the characters, Walter, g**s because of the awful smell of the demon. He doesn't actually v**** but the sound alone may set someone off. Just fair warning in case someone here wants to play it!

Corpse Party

As might be expected from a game like this, there are several instances of characters v*, both rendered visually and heard. Along with this, there's a lot of coughing/choking sounds that might trigger those sensitive to sound.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Big warning for the final boss of the game. (The Empyrean Sentinel)

In the third and final portion of the boss fight, the enemy gains a corrosive/acid ability that can be triggering. The enemy v*s a large amount of acid onto the ground (the sound is pretty gross but not really a v* sort of sound). The attack lasts for at least five seconds I think. I'm not entirely sure. But the acid does remain on the ground for a little while after the attack is over. I was able to defeat him relatively quickly so he only did it twice in my game but I imagine he'll do it more if it takes longer to kill him.

The fight is safe until the third round of the battle though.

Yakuza 5

In Yakuza 5, there is a taxi mission called The Queasy Man. Pretty much the premise is that there is a drunk man who is feeling nauseous and needs a smooth taxi ride home otherwise he'll v*.

When I played it, the guy never got sick, but he does mention feeling like he's going to and I'm pretty sure if you don't drive carefully he will. It's a side taxi mission, so you as far as I know, you can avoid it completely and just do the other missions.

!! Very very important thing to note about the binding of Isaac rebirth: there is a boss named "mega fatty" that has an attack where he will v* into the air and it will rain down everywhere. The sound's not too bad but the visuals can be upsetting. It's good to look away when you see him look like he's sucking air into his mouth and he pulls you towards him, because this is the signal for the attack. (Btw this blog is so helpful, thank you for making it)

Rule of Rose

There's one boss (a mermaid) that dumps basically dirty water from her mouth, but can also been taken as v*. The noise can be triggering, and she does it throughout the fight as that's her attack. I played this when I was extremely phobic and this didn't trigger me, but I was also so in love with the game that I feel that helped. It's not skippable if you want to beat it, but the graphics are very dark and it's hard to see in that room as well. Idk. I loved this game despite it.

in monster hunter games if u get drunk from doing the drinking animation too much your character does an animation that kinda looks like theyre v*ing if u stand still but theres no visual or noise (i thought it was just exaustion animation)

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Near the beginning of the game, you will be in a tavern fight. After it finishes, there will be a patron who v*. The visuals are not as severe, as it is not a focus of the scene, but the audio is clearer.

V* noises may play repeatedly in background in Lindenvale near the merchant. Rather than being one-time, it can loop while speaking to characters if the character is present. Not visually graphic but severe audio. The quest ‘The Fall of the House of Reardon’ requires you to visit this building and speak to someone inside to finish it. The reward for the quest is received prior to speaking to her, however, so the final step can be skipped at the cost of the quest remaining in your log as unfinished.

In the game Outlast (the first one, not Outlast: Whistleblower), there is a scene a fair ways into the game in which the protagonist is captured by the tertiary antagonist of the game, strapped to a wheelchair, and wheeled into a bathroom. The antagonist cuts off several of the protagonist's fingers and once the antagonist leaves, the player breaks free of the wheelchair, but then immediately v*s violently. The scene is HIGHLY graphic both in audio and visual.

Alien: Isolation

If you play this stealth sci-fi game and encounter a hostile android, decide whether you want to run & hide or engage it in combat. If you engage the robot and kill it, it leaks out a milky substance (its "blood") from the head or body. Occasionally, and especially with melee attacks, it will spit the fluid from it's mouth in a v*-like motion. The actual visual is mildly triggering but the sound can be especially graphic sounding and is randomized. Sound in this game is very important to the stealth aspect, so usually playing with a headset or surround sound is recommended, which can worsen this incident. It is not necessary to actually fight any androids until chapter 14, and you can maintain a safe distance from them by using guns. Run and hide whenever you can to lessen the probability of needing to fight and encounter the triggering content.

There is one cutscene in chapter 12 where an android is killed by another person and while you can't see it very well, again, the sounds can be graphic sounding. Also, throughout the game, humans may be locked in conflict with hostile androids and you may see one of them killed. Gauge the situation and avoid when you can (for yourself and to help keep your character safe).

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

In the mission 'Don Peyote', Paul will tell the player to "Pull over now!" after discussing the after-effects of a drug he administered. If the player pulls over, Paul will get out of the car and v*. Not very triggering due to old graphics and can be avoided by simply continuing to drive
