IMPERIARP is copying THE SECOND DEATH

The Second Death is a nearly six-month-old JCINK-based Harry Potter (Marauders era) roleplay focussed on political tensions and the impact of technology on the wixen world. I have reason to believe the admins of @imperiarp​ are copying our concepts and lore. Therefore, I urge all members of the Tumblr RP community to please rescind their support of this roleplay. TSD has been a labour of love which was six months in the making, and to see our concepts and ideas so blatantly and brazenly copied is deeply upsetting.

Note to clarify: Imperia have assigned the name “TALOS” to their secret pro-tech syndicate, whereas on TSD this group is known as the Proteus Syndicate, and TALOS is a tech-based corporation. Imperia ALSO have used the name “the Syndicate”, which they then assigned to a crime/drug ring. TSD also has a family-run crime/drug ring, known as the Seven Sisters; however, similarities between Imperia’s Syndicate and our Seven Sisters are circumstantial at best, and also not entirely original.

TSD is a political HP roleplay featuring a three-party (left-wing, centre, and extreme right-wing) system. So is Imperia.

TSD has reworked the Wizengamot into a fully-functional democratic parliament for the wizarding community. This was not a concept I had ever seen before in a HP rp, ever. This concept also appears on Imperia.

Trying anything new for the Skinathon? I wanna make different looks for different forum rows. Like super super customized. I know that doesn’t make them very usable but I’m obsessed with really thought out site layouts. BIRDS OF A FEATHER - SKIN SOLD

Hey its finally done! I did it! Birds of a Feather is complete! This skin includes custom HTML templates for posts, forum row, topics row, board stats, member profile and member list, it also uses essi’s pop-out profile script, meaning instead of linking to member profiles, they pop out! 100$ USD gets you the xml files, for an extra 20$ I will install it for you! Live Coding Editor - Project ZIP - Download Under Cut! 

Hey all, so I cleaned up my coding editor and zipped it into a shareable file for anyone who wants to look at it/use it to design their own coding environment to their exact, personalized specifications. To use it, just unzip the file, and open the index.html file in your browser. There are of course set backs to coding this way, for one, sharing your code with others isn’t as easy as just linking them, you’d have to move it over to a site that allows that, but if you’re like me and want things to look a very specific way, this is a nice way to get that done. 

I’ve tried to make the style.css file as clean and easily editable as possible, there are six variables for easy styling. They are as follows, text colour, text background, preview background, title background, title colour, and font family. By default the font is montserrat, which is hosted through google.fonts. If you want to change to another google font you’ll have to switch the link in the index.html file. 

All of these files were created in Sublime Text, a which is free to download if you do not have another text editor that can open them. 

If anyone has problems unzipping this folder or there is a strong demand for it I can create a little tutorial on how to navigate the project folder, what everything means and why its there. Ps. you shouldn’t have to install winrar to unzip files if you're using windows anymore, you can just right click and press extract here.

Its Been A While, Huh?

Okay, but in my defense I HAVE been coding, just not posting about it because I’m horrible. I am hoping to get a site up soon where I’ll be releasing smaller code for free, as well I’m very seriously considering SKINATHON-ing with everyone this July, which means hopefully I’ll have a skin to sell soon! Sorry for the giant pause in activity, hopefully this is just one step of many towards fixing that!
