Final Photographic Series

I have included some of my potential final images. Between now and the final, I have given myself the assignment of editing my final series to look as visually cohesive as possible. I also may switch out photos and narrow down.

This series will focus on viewing the figure, through drinking glasses. The glasses have no detailed design to prevent obstruction of seeing through the glass. Naturally though this view, the figure will contort and change. This will happen in ways that are both unrealistic and exaggerated. Against the beauty standard of present day photo taking. This series is focused on this distortion, not the figure, not the glass. The figure wears the same sweatshirt to act as a constant and to not be a point of interest. Same with the background. As to whether these images focus on exaggerated imperfections or the idea of self reflection, this will be left open ended to the viewer as to how it resonates with them.
