The Southern Reach Trilogy by Jeff Vandermeer is my favorite book series (with Annihilation being my favorite book of all time - seriously it changed me!) and it inspires a lot of my artwork. I would like to think if I was absorbed by Area X that I would turn into a flower of some sort. With lots and lots of eyes!
