New pattern in my Redbubble shop!
My entry for the 2020 Templar Publishing Illustration Competition, I entered the Big Picture Press Non-Fiction brief, which had the theme of 20/20 future vision :) I was inspired by 70′s sci-fi art and the dot-to-dot drawings I used to do as a child.
A portrait of someone I love very much ❤😊 @ardazorlu
Another sneak peak of my comic book, made for my university final project (which helped me graduate with a first class honours by the way!!!) I’m slowly but surely finishing the colouring process, almost there!
And also, here is a link to my university degree show page. Unfortunately due to covid-19, we could not have the usual degree show exhibition, but at least I can share this page :)
Work from my final degree project, in which I made a comic book. Some sketches from the early stages of its development, I was testing out and refining the visual language :)
A little preview of my final degree project! A two in one comic book wrote and illustrated by myself. I plan on posting the whole story here once every page is fully coloured. I currently have 12 out of 23 pages coloured, wish me luck! :D
Character profiles for Moe and Ed, from my original digital comic book “You Can Keep The Change”
"You Can Keep The Change" is a multi-perspective digital comic exploring the concept of dishonesty and ego. The comic is designed to be read on a mobile or tablet device with headphones to listen to the voice-acted storytelling from each character's perspective. The device would be turned 180 degrees to switch the perspective.
There are always two sides to every story. What happens in that story? Well, it depends on who’s telling it. Is it Ed, the cocky career criminal with an over inflated ego? Or is it Moe, the beer-bellied business owner with a no-nonsense reputation and an income to maintain? Who would you believe?

Painted with gouache :)
Fear and Loathing in Melton Mowbray: A sequential imagery project combining photography and illustration (and in the original PDF, audio!) inspired by Hunter S. Thompson’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. This sequence of photographs shows a surreal drug trip in less glamorous surroundings than Las Vegas; the small market town of Melton Mowbray in the East Midlands of England!
Baby Kampa: An original short comic written, designed and created by me, based on a trip to Prague. Each page was created with a combination of the photographs I took while away, and traditionally painted illustrations. The story was inspired by the sculptures I saw on my trip, including giant bronze baby statues outside the Museum Kampa, and Michal Trpak’s “Slight Uncertainty”. The latter in particular inspired me, reminiscent of Mary Poppins, and the story fell into place :)
The artwork of Prague holds a secret, one that won’t be kept for long if Baby Kampa is allowed to run rampant around the city! The statues have worked hard to keep their sentience a secret from humans, coming to life only when there are no witnesses. With the pitter patter of giant, bronze feet threatening to disturb their peace, the living statues of Prague must come together and find a way to settle down Baby Kampa, before the damage is irreparable.
My contribution to a group project; a re-imagining of Hilaire Belloc’s Cautionary Tales for Children, aimed at an adult audience. I worked on the illustrations along with fellow illustrators Amelia Harris and Emma Burn, the artwork above was created by me. Typography and layout by designers Asuka Sheridan and Izzi Glover. This was such a wonderful project!
Arthur Morgan and John Marston from Red Dead Redemption 2! I love this game so much!!
Done with coloured pencils :)
I absolutely love badgers. They visit my garden almost every night and they are a joy to watch! I enjoyed painting these cuties :) Done with acrylic paint.
A collection of recent(ish) paintings of mine. All of them are done with gouache. We have; Java Sparrows, Common Kingfishers, a Grey Heron, a Grey Squirrel, Blue Tits, and a Mallard Duck. 😀
I followed a couple of Bob Ross tutorials today! I haven’t done much landscape painting, but Bob Ross is a very good teacher :) I used acrylic paint for this, rather than oils, but I’m pleased with the results!
Chloe Frazer from the Uncharted games, done with coloured pencils on toned paper (first time drawing on toned paper, I loved it!)
