Her Story:

Her parents were separated by the time she was two. She never really knew why or of her father. Anytime she asked her mom just said he didn’t want to be involved. She never really questioned it.

She has locket with a picture of her father, every night she would kiss it good night, on the other side it was a picture of Max.

Her mother married Hector when she was around two. From him her and her sisters gained Max. Max is the only father figure she’s ever really known, he’s her safety net.

Their household was chaotic has her mother and stepfather were equally passionate and stubborn people.

She came into the PR world because she liked the idea of helping someone keep a positive image and she would always have to create a positive imagine of her home life so she had plenty of practice.

She never had a case she couldn’t handle.

When she with some guy for a while she became pregnant. They ended up in a car accident where she lost the baby. They never recovered and she never told anyone about it. The doctor said she might not be able to easily conceive and she took it as she was being punished.

The past two days had been a lot for Adriana. She had gone through a lot of emotions in 48 hours and really any of them were anything good. She was doing her best to smile and stay distracted from the mess she had created, but that was hard when the party revolved around her, Max, and their unborn child. Which is why she had snuck away from the crowd of people to steal a bite to eat in the kitchen. Swiping her finger along the icing of the cupcake she had picked up, its sweet tasting letting her disappear into it for a moment. Her mind completely elsewhere that she didn't notice someone else entering into the room with her until they spoke. "Sorry, I was totally zoned out there. What's up?"

“Oh hey. I um didn’t realize you were in here. How are you?” Truthfully Emira could care less but she is trying to make an effort to be nicer to Ana. Until she can do a paternity test she guesses. “Do you need anything Ana?” The silence was loud that was certain but the atmosphere was a bit different and Emira couldn’t understand why.

Brandon wasn't a familiar face when it came to the nightlife venues of Hidehill. Despite being here his whole life, he could probably count the number of times he'd come to Envy on one hand. The only drug he'd ever done was weed, and he wasn't much of a drinker either-- people don't exactly stand in nightclubs sober. But, tonight he'd gone under that guise and used it to slip quietly through into the private back area of the venue. He was looking for something, anything. There was no way the cops got all the evidence, there has to be something still here. A sim card kicked under a desk, maybe, or fingerprints on a windowsill. The power had been cut before the attack... Where were the fuse boxes? His chest rose and fell heavily, and his mind was so hyperfocused on evidence that he'd not heard footsteps. Not until they were right behind him. He didn't turn around, just knew someone was in the room with him now. "This-- t-this isn't what it looks like, whatever... Whatever you t-think it looks like..."

It had been a while since Alex had actually been out, probably the longest she'd ever been without stepping foot inside a bar or club for-- Fuck, as long back as she could remember. But she couldn't just stay away forever, especially not when Jovi played here which was the case tonight. She'd kept herself away from the bar for most of the night, but a comment from some stranger in the smoking shelter had sent her mind running. If your problem was drugs, why you clean off booze too? He had a point, she'd never exactly been an alcoholic. And... One beer wouldn't hurt, wouldn't send her on a craze. It was just beer. Beer was practically water. Especially like a Bud Light or something. So she came through, practically running, and she felt it-- the excitement. Was sad, really. "Yo," she greeted the bartender. "Just a beer, mate-- Coors'll do," Alex nodded towards the Coors tap. Then she looked to her side and nodded up a greeting to the person who had come up to her. "You want a drink? On me..."

CL wasn’t her ideal space for when she’s going through something crazy but it was a fun spot when she just wanted to chill and hang out. Something about the lounge always freaked her out she guess. She couldn’t say no to a free drink. “Well I can’t refuse that. Surprise me. I’m indecisive.”

𝐁𝐎𝐇𝐃𝐈 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐋𝐒 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐇𝐄'𝐒 going crazy. Like his mind is spinning, in some elaborate choreographed dance that faces constant missteps along the way. One after another, until he was nothing but a knot of tangled limbs. What made it worse was that living in confusion always felt like a sign of weakness. "I suppose.. feeling out of control is not exactly my forte." He sighs with a broken laugh, arms crossed across his chest. "I'm as alright as I can be, I suppose. Getting by, day by day. And you?"

At the mention of the coffee, he pauses as his eyes travel downwards. "Goodness me -- of course you can." He sighed, holding out the coffee. "You have good taste."

She gave a sorry smile as he handed her the cup of coffee. “Thanks it’s what gets me through the day without completely going insane.” Coffee was literally her saving grace on a daily basis she doesn’t know how or if she could even function without it.

“I’m a control freak so I like to feel in control but lately I feel like it’s anything but. I don’t maybe it’s the news or my clients lately. Or probably my tv shows getting cancelled and ending on a cliffhanger? Sometimes I don’t think about until someone actually asks me how I’m doing. I’m babbling in short I’m ok.”

Izaiah shook his head. "Do not apologize." In Izzy's eyes, Alara was the one that dragged his best friend Carter into that mess. He was so in love with her, he would do anything for her. "She was the witch, but I have more colorful words for her." Izzy responded "I will share a drink to her demise, she got what she deserved."

“I guess I know how you feel. I hope she didn’t harm your family or something that seemed to be her pattern anyway.” She knew Alara had reputation for taking away friends and family members from others people. “She deserved nothing less.”

"Don't sweat it. That seems to be the general consensus anyway," Gabriel shrugged. He had been as shocked as anyone to hear that Alara was part of the collective that had terrorised the town only months earlier, and he found it difficult to be sad that she had now been found dead. It was moreso embarrassing for the police force of Hidehill who couldn't catch her before someone else did. "But I'll drink to it, even though I don't think her death really changes anything."

“I guess it’s hard to feel remorse for someone who caused so much people pain. Nobody how much you can try to spin the tale or understand.” She said as she finished up her drink. “I guess it left more problems and questions rather than solutions.”

“I wonder if the shadow is just a curse somebody put on this town. Did you know her? Any of them?”

𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐒 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐒 𝐁𝐎𝐇𝐃𝐈 the most at the moment, is that he's not quite sure if the haze he appears to be currently wandering through is the aftershock of Alara's demise or the lack of coffee he has ingested. Considering he's felt like this for days, ever since the wedding as a matter of fact, he decides to go with the former. And so, bleary eyes practically bore into the counter in front of him as he tries to wipe the last of the sleep from his eyes. Everyone else he knows is going back to work. Why shouldn't he? However, the longer he stands there -- he wonders if it's best for him to go home and let someone else enjoy his drink. He doesn't even remember what he ordered. He jumps with a start at the first sight of a to-go mug being placed down on the table, before he notices the name it brandishes. Shit. Good one, Bohdi. You don't look out of it at all.

"I- I'm sorry." He pauses, adjusting his suit jacket out of impulse. To appear respectable. "I suppose I'm more on edge than I anticipated." How could he not be, when one of his dearest friends had come across The Shadow's lifeless body?

”Don’t be. Everyone has been on edge.” Everyone was so excited about the wedding the town able to forgot about the shadow for a minute. With Alara’s body found everyone was on edge. Nobody knew who was safe or not. “How are you doing?”

Emira thought getting a cup before work might help her. “ Um but can I have my coffee?”
