Daisy Jones and The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid This was the first book I read by @tjenkinsreid and oh my days it was brilliant. It was last spring when I was on holiday, and it was the perfect read for by the pool. One of the things that made TJR a new favourite author for me is how she is able to make her characters feel so impossibly real; you almost forget that they’re fictional. That’s why I was so excited to hear about the tv adaptation - now her characters can truly come to life. I haven’t stopped listening to ‘aurora’ since it came out and I went straight online to order the vinyl. Funny You Should Ask - Elissa Sussman I think this book was quite enjoyable. It was relatively short and fast paced so you can read it within a couple days if you wanted to. I did like how it was structured, swapping between past and present, and the two meetings between Chani and Gabe. a month of memories ☁️✨ this month has been quite a fun one for me between starting a new job and spending time with my family. my new job has given me a much more structured schedule which has allowed me to regulate my habits and hobbies including reading. my reading pace has picked up a bunch, from january only reading one book, to february reading three (and a half). i’m excited to see what books i’ll pick up in march! my new schedule has meant I got to see many beautiful sunrises and sunsets as well, there’s so much beauty to appreciate in the world around you get a moment to pause and take it all in 🌅 something else i’ve started using this month is tumblr, it’s been really nice to find quotes and poetry on this platform, one being a quote on the fourth slide from the blind assassin, a book on my evergrowing tbr that was recommended to me by my english teacher back in college. the second slide is for anyone like me who buys books faster than they’re able to read them ;) #tbr #februarywrapup #books #bookstagram #emmaslittlelibrary_ #poetry #literature #cinema #sunsets #pinterest #romance https://www.instagram.com/p/CpNxD3DIE99/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
