Your path was already charted without your input, Rhaenyra. Such is the burden of monarchy! However, you had a choice, Rhaenyra. You could have fled to an uncharted territory and created a life of your own.

As a youth, you desired freedom from all of this. Alicent was too afraid to entertain the idea; she was bread in the partriachal system, where choices made were without her consent. Now she is asking you to "come with me...". It is indeed, too late. The weight of the crown is upon you, Rhaenyra; your sense of honor and duty is greater than yourself, as it was with Alicent when she was younger.

We have to embrace life when the opportunity knocks on our door; we must seize it with all our might and with every ounce of will.

Providence is a killer of souls!

The script is in development. I am partly glad to hear this, and I'm partly pessimistic. This show differs from the book version. What about the friendship between Rhaenyra and Alicent? What will become of them? The ending and what has transpired between the two friends, these two strong women, float in the air. Alicent desire freedom? This needs to be remedied. Alicent’s life was not her own.

Please give her a life, Showrunner @houseofthedragonhbo @hbo . Why should she not become a woman with power of her own? The friendship can still exist despite being on opposite sides. The patriarchy is alive and well. Utilize this so that these two women who are strong can survive. Battle of the Roses and the strong women who were at the heart of it did exist. It is history!

Learning that the script is already beyond planning and is currently in the writing stage propels me into a state of ambivalence. We have not seen season three yet. The show diverted from the book quite a bit. Rhaenyra’s arc could suffer; in the previous seasons, it took a while for her arc to develop. Season three is in the air. We have Emma D'Arcy, who possesses an incredible talent and yet is underutilized.

We have Alicent, a shell of a person, fashioned to the whim of the patriarchy. She worked for and maintained the patriarchal system. At the end of season two, she desired freedom? Is it freedom to regain her mind or her sense of self? Alicent is intelligent. She is now aware that she was a tool in the grand design of the patriarchal system. Please give her her own life. Allow her to become a powerful woman to take part in the game, just like the women who were instrumental and who fought valiantly in the Battle of the Roses.

Give Emma D'Arcy’s Rhaenyra free reign to be a powerful queen but one with a conscience and a soul. Please Showrunner and the writing team (@hbo) do these two women justice. You changed their story. It can be beautiful if you allow it.

I am hoping that Emma had a beautiful day today. They have been on my mind more today, even though Emma lives in my psyche 24/7.

I wish Emma is/was surrounded by those who love them today: January 1st, 2026! It would be more enjoyable for them, I think. [Imagining the warmth]

Maybe my semi-writer's block is moving out, finally? It has over-stayed its welcome! To return, Emma has started the new year on a great note! Beginning with 5ge Play: The Other Place, from January through March 2026!

I truly wish I could attend. Imagine being near them and in the same room? It would be heaven and earth for me! I am certain it would be akin to my vivid dream of them (which I have already written; I simply need to post it on here). I am a bit skeptical about posting my current thoughts on social media these days; our thoughts are now utilized to train AI without our consent.

All in all, I hope Emma had a delighful New Year's Day.

I admire that about them. We should appreciate the work they do without prying into Emma's personal life. Emma does share with us, and when they do, it is meaningful; we see a lovely person with the kindest spirit and heart.
