Good point. Care to join me?
stone-travis:
The pleasure is mine, Emma.Â
Such a gentleman.
dashingdoctor:
âWe need to be quick.â he said softly not wanting to be as he turned her around pressing her into the wall. He knew their schedules and knew they were both packed. It was the curse of the medical professionals of this town. His hand moved down cupping her ass before lifting her leg up against his hip.
âI know.â she breathed in response, her hands lightly tugging on his hair to tilt his head up before lowering her lips on his for a kiss as he pressed her against the wall. Her hands slipped from his hair and slid down his firm torso to his pants, fingers dealing with the button as his hands cupped her ass. âCondom?â she breathed as she pushed herself up when he lifted her leg up and wrapped both of her legs around his waist.
stone-travis:
I say we keep going til youâre drunk enough to admit youâre drunk.Â
What makes you think I will know I am drunk later?
stone-travis:
Itâs hard to be in pain when a pretty girl like you is smiling at me. Iâm Travis, by the way.Â
Well donât you know your way with words? Iâm Emma, nice to meet you.
willing-waitress:
âThatâs what you said four drinks ago. Iâm cutting you off.â the woman with a shake of her head.
The psychologist took a deep breath before nodding, after all she was still somewhat reasonable. âAlright, youâre right. Can I get a glass of water instead?â
Why stop at one?Â
Because I am already on my fifth. And to be honest, I am feeling slightly tipsy. Like not really drunk, but also really light.
stone-travis:
Sorry, iâm still trying to get to know everyone. All the faces kinda blend together.Â
âSo you are new here as well?â Emma asked with her eyebrows slightly raised. âIn that case, I feel your pain.â
âJust one more, okay? Just one.â
âAre you just going to sit there or dance with me!?â
âI am not really good at dancing.â
dashingdoctor:
The man ran his lips down the slender neck of the woman. He didnât normally partake inside the hospital. He understood that there was too much going on, too many issues that could arise but sheâd been teasing him all morning that he had to pull her into the unused rooms or he just wouldnât get any work done.
A light breath left her parted lips as she felt the lips of the male behind her caress her neck. Yes, she knew she wasnât supposed to get involved with colleagues but a few innocent remarks hit all the right spots and if they could be fast enough, there would be no problem. Closing her eyes, she pressed herself more to him, inviting him to break the tension that had piled up between both of them.
stone-travis:
Could I get another beer, please?Â
âItâs the waitress you should be asking that, not me.â
âAre you here for my interviews?â
âI have, the regional bosses at my other offices are already employing people for similar roles. This town is an interesting one, Iâm sure youâve noticed - my employees therefore, arenât the most normal.â he says, smirking down at her pointedly. âThis is my biggest office though, my main head quarters, so Iâd like to start here.â He strides up to the counter, nodding hello to the baristas, âWhat can I get you, Emma?âÂ
âAh, I see.â she nodded before looking up at him to see if he was joking about his employees. âYou say that almost as if to see if the work will scare me off.â Emma said with a light frown before it curved into a small smile. âI understand, I was just curious.â she explained herself as she followed him up to the counter, arm still linked to his. âBlack coffee. Make it strong, please.â her head turned back to him after she had taken in the sight of the place.
âAre you here for my interviews?â
âWeâre always expanding, we have a few different offices across this city, and half a dozen in other towns and states, but the one here youâd be working with is fairly large, if we decided it was necessary however, if youâre work helped a great deal, weâd likely hire another to help you deal with the departmentâs needs.â He shrugs, again - he wasnât the expert on this job, but he answered what he knew as they headed down in the elevator and walked out, crossing the street to a modern looking place that smelled divine.Â
âReally? That is very impressiveâ Emma asked, surprise evident in her tone. For someone so young looking, he ruled an empire. It had her wondering if he was maybe continuing the family legacy, it was a common thing after all. âThough,â she began again as they stepped out of the elevator, âwhy would you have me here? I mean, if you have so many offices, why not send me to some you might have doubts about, some that could use a psychologist since you canât be at all places at once?â
âAre you here for my interviews?â
âOh? And what have you found?â He smirks, trying to stop his jaw from tightening immediately at the idea of the other analysing him. But he grinned again when she said yes to coffee, linking their arms confidently and heading for the elevator with a grin - there was an excellent coffee shop just across the street, perfect for getting to know someone.Â
âThatâs only for me to know.â she hummed lightly as her eyes scanned his face, noticing the slight jaw tightening and deciding not to make such jokes again as it clearly made the man uncomfortable. Not fighting the arm linking, she followed him to the elevator and inside it. âSo, how big is your HR department?â Emma asked, trying to change the topic.
âAre you here for my interviews?â
âYouâre right - it is a poor strategy,â He says bluntly. âI could get to know you better over coffee, and if you didnât want to interview here then I think you would have left when you found out this wasnât a hospital.â He shrugs confidently. âSo coffee?â He says with a smile, enjoying trading barbs with her. She was, after all, the one that had wandered into his office for a job.Â
She wasnât sure if she was amused by him or intrigued, still she found him to be different than other people she encountered and maybe thatâs why she was still there. A light laughter escaped her at his comment, fine, she had that coming -- however, she could keep up with the game. âMaybe you intrigued me and I stayed to analyze you before I went to the hospital.â she said with ease before shaking her head, âFine. I guess a cup of coffee couldnât hurt.â
âAre you here for my interviews?â
âNot exactly, obviously weâll get you to your real interview to make sure youâre qualified and exactly what weâre looking for.â he points out, âI just like to have potential employees see the building before they make a decision - or maybe iâm just trying to get to know you,â He teases, a smirk on his lips. In truth he knew very little about the job she was here for, and he was just using it as an excuse to waste some time and tease a pretty girl, but he also liked the thought of beautiful people in his office.
âOf course.â Emma agreed with a light nod, but still couldnât help feeling something was slightly off. The psychologist in her was simply too strong. However, she wasnât the kind of person to jump to conclusions or speak ahead, so once again she went on with what Angelus presented her with. âIn that case, you have an interesting approach.â she chuckled, head slightly shaking as she followed his lead. âThough what makes you think you can get me to interview or get to know me just by showing me the building?â she taunted him in return, wondering what his response will be.
