You may know me from posting headcanons and making AUs! I’m always up to talk about them or anything Dispatch related in comments, reblogs, private messages, or asks, so don’t be shy!

I’ve also written fanfic for Dispatch! Plenty of Robert angst because he’s my favorite character. While I have many ships, the only one I’ve written for is Flambert. My most popular fics are Accepting Warmth and It Won’t Be Like It Was

Currently, I’m writing:

The writers probably didn’t intend for this, but knowing what we know about Jamie’s past, I can’t help but wonder if he invited that other woman to the auction not because he wanted to make himself seem more valuable but because he wanted to guarantee who won the date. He needed to make sure it was someone he was okay with having sex with (not that they were allowed to have sex but Jamie might not have trusted that)

What music app do you guys use?

The battery has been sucky on my phone, so I’ve gotten a new one, but I can’t get Musi on my new phone. I’ve been checking out various apps for music, but none of them really work for me. The majority are just really restrictive about the music or mandatory about paying without a free option. There’s the popular ones (Spotify, Pandora, YT Music), but I remember the ads on those suck. Is there better options, or should I just settle for 30 second ads every two songs?

Despite Sonic being the “hero” and Shadow being the “antihero/villain,” it honestly makes more sense for Shadow to be the sheriff and Sonic to be the outlaw. Just based on their personalities, y’know?

I wish I should write Jamie’s accent or a lick of British culture because I really want to write a fic about Jamie learning he was originally ousted from Richmond because Rebecca wanted to make Richmond lose to get back at Rupert

And he struggles with that. His pride is wounded at having been used as a pawn. He’s angry that no one seemed to care, and that no one told him earlier—that Rebecca apologized to Ted but didn’t say anything to him

It also hurts, remembering his time at Manchester. Remembering his father. All of that could’ve been avoided

But he thinks what upsets him the most is that it was a ploy against Rupert. A too-powerful asshole that always reminded him too much of Tartt Sr.

And he doesn’t know what to do with his feelings. Because he’s trying so hard not to be a prick anymore. So, the emotions just sit with him

All this, and I can only imagine Scott sitting near them and becoming traumatized so quickly because he didn’t realize what was happening until it was happening and now he stumbles through a goodbye and goes full werewolf to run away

so uhhhh about those lost mianite s1 nether and end temples.

for those who don't know, check my previous reblog for context about what this is and why it's important. anyways, in late 2024 after getting into mianite the series a decade late i revived the search for the full s1 world download, since the official upload's nether and end dimensions are corrupted.

since then, myself and a few other fans of the series (who have been here basically since the beginning, i am VERY new to this party LOL) have been searching across the internet for anyone who may have the full uncorrupted world file in our free time. we've contacted the original server admins, the team that built the temples, and even an artist who used the end temple file in a 3d animation, all to no avail

declan, one of the mianite series' lead admins and BTS crew members, said that if he still somehow had a copy of the world somewhere, it'd be on his old hard drive that he didn't have access to anymore. so, the search went cold.

until february of this year, when fern found a discord message from mrmadspy (another mianite admin and BTS member) with a screenshot of the missing s1 nether temple from 2019.

so we messaged him and as it turns out, he has the full uncorrupted mianite s1 world file on his computer

so basically we finally found it after 12 years. it still exists and it's within reach

the reason that we don't have it is because mms said the file was not his to give to us, which is fair, he needed to have permission from dec to do that. so we messaged dec about it, multiple times

we have not gotten a response

do we think that there are other superheroes out there that actually have mechanical based powers? like cyborgs and whatnots… because i can only imagine how horrifying the concept of mecha man would be ??

I don't like that the game makes out that roberts a little oblivious about his own fucking mech. Like its like he's relying solely on royd, and in the conversation about the mech and the pulse they talk about gearheads and science nerds they could've put robert in the gearhead category. Which to me he is he's been repairing and maintaining that mech for like 15 years. I wish he was more involved in the rebuilding and designing of his mech, that we got more of him royd talking about it and how he managed for so long.

Like i think he puts himself down in comparision to his dad, so it would have been intersting if they focused more on the revelation that he didn't make the pulse. Like they easily could've made mini game sequences for rebuilding the mech with royd. And used those sequences to give us more exposition on robert and his dad, even his granddad. Get into the dynasty of mecha man and talk adout how his grandad powered his mech when they're trying to make a new pulse/power source.

It just feels to me that robert isn't given as much focus after the first two eps even though he's the main character.

I agree with this. I would’ve even been fine if Robert says he isn’t good with the suit and maybe doesn’t actually know the “proper names” for things because he didn’t have formal training, but then it’s shown he’s a bonafide gearhead like his dad and Royd

And especially to that second point, his conversations with Royd would be so funny. They’d start out practically talking in two different languages. Feeling like he’s the stupid one, Robert stops participating until Royd cracks the code: they are talking about the same thing but Robert had his own names for stuff. Cue Royd both adapting to Robert’s way of thinking and also trying to teach him the scientific names

That could just be the fanfic writer in me, tho
