about six years ago, this tumblr started out as mainly doctor who/Jodie Whittaker content. And while Iāve not posted a lot about them (or in general) Jodie still means SO much to me. And somehow she means even more after my weekend at Gallifrey One.
I have so much i could say about the weekend but hereās my highlight (apart from the photo ops because holy shit that second one?? the prom pose?? i canāt believe thatās real??):
I went to the Saturday night drinks reception and I got to tell Jodie how much adult life skills meant to me, especially after losing my mom, and she gave me the loveliest little speech and squeezed my hand so tight and we both made each other cry. And then the next day I told her thank you for what she said and she said, āsorry if it was a bit intense.ā (As if it wasnāt one of the best moments of my life.)
Say what you may about Thirteen and her run, but literally no one can deny the love Jodie has for the show and for the fans. She truly understands how much the show means to everyone and takes that so seriously. I love her SO much. I hope she knows she is so so loved.
