I haven’t really had much of a chance since Graduating to do much photography, the course itself drained most of my passion as I did not get as much freedom as they said that I initially would get. Having said this I am currently in the processes of getting back into shooting Weddings, Cosplays and eventually general portraiture. This means HOPEFULLY I will be posting more and properly again in the near future which will begin with a few recent Wedding shots and some Cosplay ones as well from a couple of weeks back :)

Late posting

So I’ve been behind on posting a lot lately as I have been tackling my dissertation that has now BEEN HANDED IN! Which means on less thing for me to worry about :D I still have to sort a few more photographs ready for printing this week for my final images due on the 15th of May for the Self Led project where my research and development folder is due in on the 30th........so I will most likely disappear again for about another week whilst I get that all finished and ready. I’ve also been a bit behind as I’ve been needing to pack as on the 1st of May I am moving out to my own place literally less than 10 minutes from my parents which will be a great experience as I never moved out for university.  So my busy few weeks aren’t over yet and I have a couple of gigs lined up to shoot as well including Villagers followed by FrnkIero and the Cellabration again both at the Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms so I will be able to update a bit more of my portfolio as well ready for the hand in on the 14th of May :)

Self-led so far....

Well I’m soon planning my final set of photo-shoots to be able to really make the most of the help that I have received during my tutorials at University. At the moment I’m mainly pulling together all of my research from Martial artists such as Sean Fagan and Chloe Bruce to Kickboxings standing within the Olympics over the years and the works of photographers such as Wiebke Leister that connect to the style of images that I am aiming to fully achieve in the next couple of weeks.

I’ll be posting photographs later from the two recent shoots that I have done with Ricky, and a set of three images that test out the three different post-production ideas that I have in mind and have discussed with my lecturer.

Final Semester - Third Year

So, in about 5 days I will be back at University starting my final semester of my third and final year for Ba Hons Photography, where once I've graduated, I get to be the first in my family that ventured to University and Graduated, so I will have massively high levels of achievement around June/July.

Until Graduation though I still have my Dissertation, my Promotional based work and my Self Led work to get planned and completed in between now and then but I'm currently chopping and changing the idea that I have for my Self Led.

I'll go into more detail about them later as I owe all of you a spam of new photographs that should've been finished last year!!

Dissertation Delay

I have been able to edit a load more photographs from the recent Cosplay series I created but unfortunately I've been highly sidetracked by my Final Fantasy based Dissertation to have gotten around to uploading them!! Mass apologies and I can tell you now, one new years resolution for me is sort out uploading new images on time! Hope you've all had a lovely Christmas otherwise!

Final Images:

So the last four sets of images that I posted recently are the final images that I have selected to submit for my Set Brief Assignment final outcome. They'll be printed most to A4 full bleed as I am only required to print a couple at the size that they would be for and exhibition showing, which means about 3-4 will be printed to A3 size. 

I'll be getting on with printing them next week once the A4 versions turn up this weekend from printing, as I did cheat to save some money by printing them else where. Of course on my next final assignment all final images will be printed by me in university, but at the moment I have a severe lack of money as I get paid the day AFTER directly after hand in this week, which is highly irritating.

So between now and then I will be finishing off all written work within my sketch books, writing my accompanying artist statement and then finishing off sorting out some cool photos for you guys from two of the recent gigs I have covered, with my third happening this Sunday for Taking Back Sunday with support from Blitz Kids and The Marmozets. (Almost certain I have spelt the name of the last band wrong but when it comes to the review I obviously won't!)
