“Yep,” James muttered, giving a half nod.
“How are you doing?”
itsrabastan:
“I didn’t know you two were such good friends.”
“We weren’t, really,” she shrugged, “But it’s still weird, you know? Like we had a lot of mutual friends and so it’s just strange that he won’t be around anymore.”
“It just really fucking sucks, you know? He’s just gone.”
“It just really fucking sucks, you know? He’s just gone.”
itsrabastan:
“No fun ones.”
“You can share those details too, you know,” she pointed out.
itsrabastan:
“Oh no much,” he replied, “Family stuff.”
“Family stuff?” she asked with a raised brow, “No other details?”
josettedolohov:
“It could be worse,” she hummed, pulling out her wand. “But still, it must hurt.”
“It’s not fun,” she admitted, “But I think I’ll survive.”
antoninndolohov:
“It took some research, honestly, but they have classes for those sort of things when you want to open up an establishment,” he explained. “Now that we’ve got that sorted, do you know what you’d like? Again, it’s on the house, so don’t hold back.”
“That’s interesting,” she nodded, “I’m sure that it probably comes in handy. I mean, obviously it does.” She rolled her eyes. “I’ll have whatever you recommend. I’m not very hard to please.”
antoninndolohov:
“Since we’re not hidden from them, I figure it’s better to have this on hand in case a muggle gets hurt while here. Can’t exactly use magic on them, right?” He chuckled some, carefully cleaning off her wound before pulling out his wand to mend it. “There. Good as new.”
“True,” she nodded with a light laugh, “I’m still surprised, I don’t think I could tell you what half of the stuff in that box is for.”
“Thank you.”
antoninndolohov:
He held the door open for her, making sure he closed it to give them both some privacy once she was inside. “Either that or you could consider it a completely selfish act, not wanting you to write terrible reviews about my tavern,” he remarked with a playful smirk, pulling out his wand and summoning the first aid kit he kept on hand in case muggles stumbled in. He pulled from it the antiseptic and some gauze to clean off her hand. “This may sting a little.”
“I could never do such a thing to Josette,” she laughed lightly, raising a brow in surprise at the muggle first aid kit. “You have muggle medical supplies?” she asked. “That’s unexpected.”
antoninndolohov:
“I think our definitions of fine vary quite differently,” he replied, looking over the cut the broken glass had made to her hand. “I’m really sorry about this. If you come with me to my office, I can get this cleaned up for you. And anything you get tonight will be on me.”
“I suppose that they must,” she replied with a roll of her eyes, nodding and following him towards his office. “You’re really too kind.”
itsrabastan:
“No problem,” he replied, letting go of her hand once he saw it heal.
“What have you been up to?”
itsrabastan:
“I’m sure I’ve done stupider things,” he joked, murmuring a spell to heel the cut.
“Thank you,” she sighed, making a slight face as the cut healed before smiling up at him.
josettedolohov:
“Let me see,” she said, holding out her hand.
Emmeline sighed lightly, but held out her arm anyways, “It’s really not that bad.”
josettedolohov:
“It doesn’t look fine.”
“Only because it’s my wand arm and I couldn’t exactly heal it properly at work so it reopened,” she shrugged.
itsrabastan:
“Ouch,” he replied with a small laugh.
“It was not pleasant,” she laughed.
itsrabastan:
“What happened?” he asked, casting a quiet cleaning spell, looking at her hand. If she didn’t want to say he wouldn’t push it, hardly one to pressure others to be open and honest.
“I broke a bottle of wine,” she sighed, laughing lightly, “Stupid, really.”
