He wanted to be involed. And so he kept his head down in the books, naturally straying from the temptation of parties of hookups, and and took a double major in business and engineering, going straight into a business masters afterwards. Just as he was about to truly start his career, he recived a strange invitation. Clearly being the son of a wealthy businessman and heir to a large corporation had caught the attention of some powerful people. And since Emmet had negated the debaucherous parts of the college experience, perhaps that invitation was an excuse to take a little break from reality and live out some of those experiences, he hadn't had the nerves to try before.

Sliding back down in his chair too, Emmet found Roman's wide smile so damn contagious, making him chuckle lightly. Sweet boy... If anyone was sweet between the two of them, if was definitely Ro, especially if he really had had the client in his thoughts since their last awkward meeting.

"It's, uhm, definitely getting better. The whole islandis... a lot less overwhelming now. Still not used to, uhh, the wholeintimate aspect of it, you know?" A light blush spread across his cheeks as he tried to formulate that last sentance. He knew Roman wasn't a shy man, so really, he didn't need to censor himself in front of him. He just still wasn't used to speaking so openly about it. "It's a dark'n'stormy. But we can get a bottle of wine, champaign, just whatever you prefer."

Roman tilted his head while the other male spoke, feeling extremely endeared because this boy was sooo, so cute. There was just something about him, it was pleasant to be around such an innocent energy in a place like this. Ro supposed maybe he'd been that way at some point, for a brief moment in time, but that was too far gone to remember now. But that blushing...adorable.

"I'm glad you're starting to feel a little more at home. This island has a charm about it, I will say." Roman immediately went into caretaker mode, feeling the need to run the show in this dynamic, because he could tell that Emmet was a people pleasure, much like himself. He ordered his friend a dark'n'stormy, and a shot of tequila for himself. "I am curious though, what are you looking for on the island? Is it more about finding people to spend time with, or do you eventually see yourself wanting or being comfortable with intimacy?'

"Yeah, it certainly does. Honestly I was wondering what drew you to this place? Have you done this for a long time or was it just Haus that interested you?" Emmet didn't know much about the hiring process for the staff members. But judging by the extensive process he as a client had to go through, he was certain it was even tighter for the staff. Only the best of the best. A guy like Roman certainly had the person skills and the flirtation down to a t. He had to have had prior experience, right? Hell, with a demeanor like that, it was obvious Roman didn't give a flying fuck what people thought about him, so it seemed likely his professions had always been just as rebellious.

Roman's question made Emmet shift in his chair, a wave of nerves settling over his body. God, he was 24 years old, he should know how to talk about these kinds of things. "It's... a little bit of everything." He started thoughtfully. "The main purpose is to work on my people skills. Nobody in the business world would take me seriously like this, no matter how many credentials I have. And... yes, I would like to get more comfortable with... sex. We all have needs, right?" As he spoke, his gaze shifted between Roman's green eyes and his own fidgeting hands. Quietly thankful the staff member had always seemed patient as a saint.

Renan lived for the water and honestly spent more of his time off shores than actually with the men on the island. Perhaps he'd been a fish in a past life or something, but whatever the reason he was always most at peace when he was swimming (or relatively near the water). Tonight, it being rather late, he hadn't expected to see anyone out along his moonlit walk - though he soon found himself looking down at belongings that were seemingly left there, perhaps someone had forgotten them in haste as they were pulled to a cabin? He looked around and that's when he first noticed the man as he emerged from the water, a grin forming across the clients lips as he watched him come closer, the client telling him that he'd thought someone had left their belongings behind or something.

He didn't want him to think he was trying to steal anything, but soon that hand came up to pause him and the client quirked a brow of curiosity as he watched him come closer. That's when it made sense, as he watched the man situate the hearing aides, and Renan could only chuckle as he shook his head hoping the other wasn't too embarrassed - he could see the look in the others eyes but luckily it was too dark to see the shade of red the other was turning. "I'm sorry, no, I mean yes, I was talking to you, but nothing important enough, I just-" was he rambling? Absolutely, but he didn't want the man to feel bad or anything, "I didn't want you to think I was going to steal anything, that's all, I don't usually run into other people out here this late at night so I was just a bit surprised."

Emmet knew there were so many men left to meet on the island and this guy was certainly one of them. He didn't recall ever meeting him before. But then again, the island was fairly large and both clients and staff came and went all the time. Bit of an awkward first time of them to meet, but that seemed to be a trend for Emmet so far. He watched, embarrassment fading and being replaced with curiosity. The stranger's rambling making a smile tug at his lips.

"Sorry, I don't hear too well without these." He apologized, gently tapping one of the devices on his ear. And frankly, that was an understatement, he bordered on legally deaf without them. Renan's explanation honetly surprised him a little. Stealing, in a place like this? "Oh, no. That didn't even cross my mind, to be honest. Who would wanna steal here? They would absolutely get caught. I'm not worried about that." Emmet gave the other man a warm smile. "Well, if you come out here at night often, this probably won't be the last time we meet. I'm Emmet, it's nice to meet you."

“Where do we start?” Loren repeated the question, thinking about the answer harder than he probably should. When he first met Emmet, he was half naked and completely inebriated. But now, he had to actually come up with an answer that the client wouldn’t think was completely off the wall. “Uhm, I have no idea. How likely do you think it would be to find an Easter egg at the bottom of the pool?” Okay, so that was definitely a bit off the wall, but Loren just grinned cheekily at the new client anyway. “I mean, chances are they put them in places no one is gonna think to look, right?

Emmet couldn't help but let out a chuckle at Loren's suggestion. Sure no normal person would put easter eggs in a pool, but they were in no ordinary place. "Honestly, I wouldn't put it past the the King's to do something like that. I mean, remember where they put those charms for Saint Patrick's Day?" Emmet paused for a moment to think. Loren had a point, to look where no one probably would. "So maybe the pool area isn't such a bad place to look around? Or any of the sports facilities. I honestly don't know how many here use those. The sports oppotunities, I mean." He offered a slightly awkward smile. Just glad Loren didn't seem to have been scared off from their last meeting. "Pools first maybe?"

Roman instantly smiled when his eyes landed on Emmet, looking just as adorable and precious as he remembered. There was something about this boy, the way he seemed so fresh faced and endearing. He was one of the few people that didn't seem as jaded about life just yet, which was most certainly the energy he needed around him as well. Or at least, that was the impression Ro had gotten from the other male so far. He still had a lot to learn.

"Hello hello, sweet boy." The dancer easily slid into the chair across from the client, grinning ear to ear as he usually was while making eye contact. "I was happy to hear from you. I've been wondering how you've been settling in." Roman expressed as he eyed Emmet's drink. "What are you having?"

Not that they knew each other well, but it was obviously something Roman would say. His outgoing personality and openness was... infectious. He was just the type of person you wanted to be around. He had said thirty minutes, but the client was at the bar ten minutes early. Getting a shot to loosen up and then finding a table for them with a drink in hand. Thankfully it didn't take long before that peacock of a man showed up. "Hey, Roman." Emmet stood to greet him, offering a smile with less nerves showing than usual. "I'm glad you wanted to come. Come sit, drinks on me."

It was probably a little too late into the night for most to go swimming, other than a few naughty, drunk skinny dippers under the moonlight. Most clients were finding their company for the night and retreating back to playrooms and cabins for their fun. The rest were probably still drinking and partying. Emmet took the oppotunity to actually take a dip in the warm ocean water. He usually wasn't much for swimming with strangers around. Worried they would speak to him and he would make a fool of himself by not hearing it at all. Not that his lack of hearing was his fault, but god, did he not want to look stupid in front of the other residents.

Satisfied with the night's swim, Emmet came up from the water. Shine of the moon illuminating the droplets on his sun kissed skin. Only for him to find another man near his belongings on the beach. And shit, Emmet could see the man's lips moving. Giving a very apologetic smile, the client held up his finger to pause the other for a moment, as he went to dry off his head and put his hearing aids back in. All the intricate sounds of the world suddenly flooding back. "I am so sorry, I couldn't hear you. Were you trying to say something to me?" Emmet asked with an embarrassed flush spreading across his face.

Nathan didn't get a lot of free time to explore and do random things on the island, so when he had the chance, he jumped at it. At the end of his appointments for the day and with no client requests, he decided to check out one of the things he'd yet to experience - bowling. Nathan loved bowling. It was something he did a lot in high school and college when time allowed. He hadn't been much since his injury, but he was pretty sure he would pick it back up just like riding a bike. If not, hey, at least he could say he tried.

On his way over to the bowling alley, the masseuse was greeted with a lovely sight. "Emmet!" He called out, having recognized the other boy immediately. It was a good thing they had met rather early on in the St. Patrick's Day celebrations when Nathan was still sober enough to remember his name, though he doubted he could forget those lips. "Hey, you busy?" Nathan had jogged up to him, that bright, charming smile on his face. "I was just heading to the bowling alley and I don't have anyone to play against." His eyebrows lifted suggestively. "Think that might be something you'd enjoy?"

Ever since the St. Patrick's day shenanigans, Emmet had been a little more cooped up in his cabin than he would've liked, solving an issue that had come up with the family business. Thankfully that was all done now and he could get back to enjoying his vacation. Or, more so pushing himself out of his comfort zone and working on his people skills.

The young client didn't expect to be stopped on his tracks, much less by Nathan of all people. They had met once already, but Emmer didn't remember leaving a particularly good impression on the other. And yet here they were, Nathan approaching him. "Nathan, right?" He questioned, polite smile on his lips. God, something about Nathan just reminded him of those closeted jocks who messed around with him at uni. Probably was because of the staffer's muscular build and sharp jawline. "Bowling?" Why the other man would ask him of all people, Emmet wasn't exactly sure. But he would take it. A good opportunity to get to know him better. "I have nothing better to do, so sure. Sounds like it could be fun."

“I hear you might be in need of an egg hunt partner, and I’m really good at finding things. Wanna see how long it takes us to fill our basket?”

"Oh uhm, sure. That sounds like fun. You probably know this island better than I do, so that will probably come in handy." Emmet offered a gentle smile. It was really about time he actually got to know some of the other residents. And especially since Loren had been one of the first he had met, he was a good place to start. The man seemed fairly outgoing too, only helping his case. "Where do we even start?"

The feeling of Roman's teeth on his lip caught Emmet by surprise. It had been years since a partner had last done that. With the older pulling away, he straightened up a bit, a pink blush settling on his cheeks. A million thoughts and insecurities running through Emmet's head in that moment. Did Roman actually enjoy that, was he a terrible kisser, was Roman just saying this to make him happy? "Thank you. And, uhm, thank you for letting me." He gave a small, but sincere smile. "No, it's okay. I promise." He nodded and subconsciously braced himself. As much as Roman was his opposite, he would never tell him to fuck off. Hell, he could most definitely learn a thing or two from the dancer. "I'm just... I don't think I got anything impressive for you. And obviously I'm not really good at any of this. Not like you."

“Hey…” Roman‘s shoulders sank, because now the cuteness of the other boy’s innocence was appearing a little more sad. The dancer could relate to having low self esteem, but he combatted that with pushing confidence instead of shyness. “You don’t have to do anything you’re uncomfortable with.” Ro reached to place a hand on Emmet’s shoulder. He made a living often doing things he didn’t want to do. There was no sense in Emmet having to do that, especially not with Roman. “But you’re really cute, and have a lot to offer. You should show it, love. There are tons of men here who would love to just be able to flirt with you.” He winked, and pushed some hair out of his new friend’s face.

God Emmet was just digging himself into a deeper and deeper hole. He had come to the island with the purpose of coming out of his shell and learning to handle people, and his own sexuality at that, better. Judging by many of the men's reactions to meeting him, his insecurities might as well be written across his forehead. Roman had picked up on it from the moment they met. Perhaps that was why he was being extra sympathetic. Certainly it wasn't the first time a man of his profession was dealing with a shy client. "With all due respect, Roman, you barely know me. But that is very nice of you to say either way.” The gesture of pushing his hair back was nice, a bit comforting in fact. Though Emmet still had a hard time believing anyone would flirt wanna flirt with him, if not for his money. “If you don’t mind me asking, how did you get so confident? How’d learn to embrace… well, all that you clearly are?” The client chuckled softly, referring to Roman’s flamboyant nature, a hand carefully coming down to rest of the dancer’s waist.

I'm Emmet, I don't think we've met yet?" The younger took in Emilio's face, a thousand questions about the man already running through his mind.
