*Passion Project Alert* . I’ve always had a deep love for jam bands, classic rockers and the instruments in which their souls are channeled and amplified. This project is an homage to Jerry Garcia’s famed “Tiger”. It debuted in Oakland in 1979 and was the last guitar played by the man in 1995. A heavy, 13.5 pounds of assorted wood varieties inlayed together to create a “hippie sand which” of texture. A real beaut. What fuels our creativity? This print is based off the daily routine of the gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson. A 3pm wake up, followed by endless glasses of scotch, 2 packs of Dunhills, 3 or 4 joints, orange juice, coffee, absinthe chaser, carrot cake, dove bars, LSD, more scotch, more acid, cocaine, and finally, after an 8 hour primer, the writing process begins!
