Scans of the Felidae German press book! I scanned them myself a while back, you can find more pages here
The Future of Felidae
For years, I have hoped that more Felidae materials could be translated into English, such as the press book and sequels. Yet, I have a feeling that most people do not want to touch any materials related to Felidae because of its association with its author, Akif Pirincci. I also, personally, do not have the funds to support Felidae translations as a long term project.
Felidae is such a meaningful work to me, and I want to ask people, maybe some who care as much as I do: what can we do? How can we reconcile our feelings about Akif Pirincciâs actions, yet feel inspired to bring more Felidae to more audiences? One idea I had was to assist with translations of screencaps of the press book, which seems like a manageable project. While I do not know German, I could likely help with tidying up the flow of translations so that the phrasing sounds natural.
THE LAND BEFORE TIME (1988), dir Don Bluth
It occurred to me recently, as someone who used to do roleplay for The Lion Guard, that there aren't many people who roleplay characters from the Guard. That was something I sought in the past and wasn't able to find. So, I want to ask if there is anyone who would like to roleplay with Kiara or Tamaa as Kion, Besthe, Bunga, Ono, Fuli, Anga, or Makini?
My info about myself and partner requirements are below.

Concept Art of Gay Purr-ee.
This is the very first animated feature film released by Warner Bros in 1962.
A Purr-fect Yuletide Romance for Mewsette and Jaune-Tom. đ±đđ
I watched a movie I had seen when I was very young, Gay Purr-ee (1962). A little movie about human-- er, cat trafficking, but with music! I felt like drawing a human version of one of the villains.
Research - UPA
I will be conducting my online secondary research by visiting sites and reading through the material and noting down whatever Important information I find there below.
In the 1930s and 1940s when Walt Disney was advancing animation with an eye towards realism, not every animator was happy with this approach
UPA studio was founded by entirely ex-Disney animators.
Many artists from UPA participated in the Disney animators' strike in 1941.
They desired to experiment with a different type of animation, while Walt Disney was striving towards realism in animation.
Dover Boys 1942 by Chuck Jones was the first cartoon from the 40s to deliberately stray away from realism as a stylistic choice, and also the first use of limited animation (animation using lesser number of frames).
In 1943, Zack Schwartz, David Hilberman, and Stephen Bosustow founded Industrial Film and Poster Service, which was later changed to UPA as they became popular.
They initially found work by making war-themed cartoons.
UPA's first successful cartoon short was the pro-Roosevelt political short called Hell-Bent for Election 1944, directed by Chuck Jones.
It was followed by  Brotherhood of Man (1945), directed by former Warner Bros. animator Robert Cannon--an anti-racism cartoon.
Its groundbreakingly flat and stylized design defied everything Disney animation stood for and set the standard for all UPA cartoons to follow.
The studio entered a contract with Columbia Pictures by replacing the Screen Gems cartoon studio.
UPA took the Screen Gems characters, The Fox and the Crow, and created the Oscar-nominated cartoons Robin Hoodlum (1948) and The Magic Fluke (1949).--which offered them more creative freedom as a result.
The Ragtime Bear (1949) introduced the near-sighted old Mr. Magoo--who was a box office hit and their biggest and most prominent star.Â
This character won Oscars for Best Animated Short two times in the 50s, and eventually became a TV, animated and live action movie star.
Gerald McBoing-Boing (1950), the story of a boy who âdidnât speak words but went boing-boing instead,â which was based on a record by Dr. Seuss and won UPA the Academy Award--was nominated 15 times between 1949-1959.
The Edgar Allen Poe adaptation The Tell-Tale Heart (1953) and Rooty Toot Toot (1951) were a lot darker than the cartoons of Warner Bros., MGM, and Disney.
UPA, at their peak, produced two feature films that failed to connect with audiences at the box office. The first was 1001 Arabian Nights (1959) starring Mr. Magoo and directed by ex-Disney animator Jack Kinney, and the last would be Gay Purr-ee (1962), written by Chuck JonesÂ
Cartoon studios such ass Hanna-Barbera would later adopt the stylized look of UPA.
However, the limited animation of TV would be used largely for cost-cutting rather than as an artistic choice.
UPA abandoned the animation in the 70s and sold its cartoon library and started distributing Japanese monster movies from Toho Studios.
Columbia owned UPAâs shorts collection while UPA retained the rights to the characters. Until Columbia sold the cartoons in 2000 to Classic Media.
Classic Media was later purchased by DreamWorks Animation in 2012, which would eventually be acquired by NBCUniversal in 2016, making Universal the current owner of the UPA library.Â
