Fairies Kingdom - Character Design Challenge by selected artists: Athiphat Ratpanat, Samuel Youn, Janine Maganito, Karolina Ewa Banasiak, Joré Escalera
I know Age of Fairies was poorly written, had an inconsistent magic system, and destroyed a lot of character arcs but they did give us Havu the Jellyfish Queen so I think that makes up for it honestly.
Your standards are too low, Anon.
Also, Havu technically first appeared as a background character in Era 1.
But you have to admit, that the jellyfish queen was one of the most interesting characters.
Also Hariel the Hony-Duke was hilarious.
He was one of the best comic reliefs I have ever seen.
One of my favorite things ever is when one person’s creativity inspires and motivates someone else’s. And you get this beautiful feedback loop of imagination and creation and people motivating and inspiring and supporting one another and goddamn that’s just fucking delightful.
The Fairies were interesting characters that were handled poorly. But luckily the author has began to reintroduce some of them, and this time they are written better than before...
Yeah, I gotta admit that I kind of see your point but I still have a bad feeling when it comes to the reintroduction of the fairies. It goes against its own canon and it would also be like the lamest ending ever if they were the ones to defeat the spider god.
Idk, I'm cautiously optimistic? like maybe it's just because i like fairies, but like, they actually have characters this time around, and even if the fairies are the ones to defeat spider god it won't happen in a vacuum. other people's contributions would still be there.
the lamest ending would have been if "the chosen one" had actually succeeded in season 3. barf.
DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT ABOUT ERA 2! Sure, it was weaker in some aspects than the first one, but it had lots of great concepts and explored well the effects the war had on the main characters. Plus it gave us the legendary Feyblade.
I mean, I obviously can't argue about taste, but era 2 had so many narrative weaknesses that I think it's easy to say that it's objectively the weakest era. I am just glad it's over and I will never have to sit through another magic faery transformation scene ever again
The season finale was very visually appealing tho. The wohle sequence of the spidergod taking over the bodies of the faeries after their Highpriest corrupted their water was incredibly well animated. Also the orchestration was a real banger.
I think you are all forgetting, how beautifully created the fairy kingdom was.
Not only the visual aspects, but also the pure love and compassion that was in every scene in the fairy forest.
Also the concept of a Fairy Royals in open relationships (Like the King and the Queen) was a really good to show how outdated classic takes on monarchy are.
I think with era two, the Empire's Tribute finally became openly political.
Me, whenever someone says something bad about the fairies in the second era.
German empire's tribute fans when beinklo is introduced for the first time:
A Beinklo meme collection because I feel like this isn't talked about enough. (@charlesoberonn what have you done)
The least valid blog in this fandom is @spidergodstribute, I can’t believe there are people spreading spider propaganda here.
Spidergod be like
The only valid thing the spider god EVER did was ending era 2
Sure I get that Era two was flawed, but at least it was beautiful.
That ugly spider destroyed a world full of colour and light, flowers and joy, brightness and magic for an empire of darkness, webs and spiders.
If I want that, I'll just go into my basement.
Spidergod be like
At least there is a good chance Éléthûníél the Lavender Lord and best friend (lover) of Îlíthádúríél King of all Flowers has survived and will slay that ugly spider like he slayed Âskagôr.
Honestly, I just wish Era Two was given more love. The Fairy Queen and the Flower Republic were such cool concepts, and had so much potential. Shame the writers of Era 2 were trash. At least the fanfiction of it is alright.
The fairies only needed to die, because if their plan of stealing the spidergods name actually had worked out, they would have become unstoppable.
But I hope they make a comeback in the next season. After all, there are some pretty good theories out there how Élíthûníél and his followers might have survived.
Era 2 was better than everyone gives it credit for but kayuna should've been bi and no one can change my mind on this
Not a fan of Era 2. It introduced too many new concepts that were dropped almost immediately once Era 3 began (which was a lot more similar to Era 1).
I agree with you on Bi Kayuna tho.
Too bad Valluha disappeared off the show after season 2, she could’ve been a cute girlfriend for Kayuna (I know it’s a rarepair, but let me dream).
But hey, the fairies where defenetly worth it🧚
To sad they all needed to die because they became to op. 😥
I love how this fandom is growing, so I thought I'd start one of these: reblog if you are an empire tribute fan account so we can find new blogs easily.
