openly admitting to using AI in your writing, doubling down, and then claiming to only use it for translations after facing reasonable backlash and then throwing a hissy fit when people silently unfollow you because their values don’t align with theft…. Like would you rather they harass you? I feel like just unfollowing is the polite thing to do :/

I can almost always tell when blogs use AI in their “writing”, it’s so obvious and cringe, I’m genuinely embarrassed when I come across it…

Cannot believe I actually have to say this but since there is such a lack of critical thinking right now: if you use AI to “write”, you are actively stealing from creatives. You cannot be upset about AO3 being scraped while also supporting c.ai or another platforms.

You either care about authors and writers or you don’t.

The American mentality of freedom of expression has literally rotted some people's brains. We've gone from “it's part of literature to portray taboo and obscure subjects and we as readers must remain critical” to literally defending the production of CSAM. Not an author just DEPICTING abuse but LITERALLY producing CSAM. Those who defend this are no different from those who make child porn comics, racists who make black face art or those who use AI to create child porn, after all it's all fiction. Worst of all, these people genuinely think that by tolerating intolerance with a shallow discourse bathed in American pedantry they are fighting facism.
