Mizisua is a prime example of keeping a couple interesting even after they "get together"

They have always been together, openly love each other without question or hesitation, and are completely devoted to one another- loving each other was never the problem between them unlike Ivantill

If anything, their intense love and devotion WAS the root of the toxicity they shared in their relationship- Sua committed to die bc she can't live without Mizi, Mizi treating Sua as the pretty doll Sua hates to be to her owner bc those kinds of words are how Mizi was shown "love" by her owners.

Sua basically letting Mizi do whatever she wants with her even when she dislikes it. She loves Mizi and her attention more than anything. Everything she does is for Mizi's wellbeing to a largely unhealthy, obsessive degree.

Mizi realizing this but ignoring it. Knowing Sua would let her crush her, just as her own owner behaved towards Mizi. The horrible way she was treated was the only way Mizi understood the love she sought.

Mizi literally describing Sua as her God, her universe.

The fact that they accept love as one person having ultimate power over the other.

Mizi doesn't want to crush Sua with her love, she is a human with empathy that holds true love for Sua, unlike the aliens. The way she was raised just makes her believe this is how things work when you love someone dearly. She never lays hands on Sua like the aliens did to her (the slap in that comic was bc of her own recent trauma making her lash out, not out of a desire to hurt Sua).

Both used the other as a coping mechanism from the horrors around them.

They are so underrated in their own fandom 😭
