just realised how similar hunter from the owl house and arthur pendragon are.

they were both born/created from magic by a father (figure) who sought to destroy it. they were both lied to about their creation and about magic as a whole from their childhood.

both of them were placed in charge of their respective armies—the knights and the emperor’s coven—from a very early age; giving them too much responsibility that isolated them from the rest of their peer group, until they met another outsider (luz and merlin) like them and they finally made a friend.

most of all they just want to fit in the way everyone else seems to, but they can’t. to his friends, hunter will always be belos’s ‘nephew’, and arthur will always be uther’s son.
